Rapid response on weekend I’ve used the managed DNS service for about 2 years now. I was setting up email for a new domain. I couldn’t add the DNS records through the UI due to the length of the field, but customer support was able to handle it under 24 hours on a weekend. Very happy with no-ip all around!

Disastrously bad handling of a false content report I ran a game server using No-IP's service as DDNS. An upset member of the group submitted a false "copyrighted/malicious content" report and my account was closed. As I was concerned that I've been framed for distributing malware or other potentially illegal actions, I emailed them to explain my situation. But there was no further response after an exchange that amounted to, "Go away, we won't help you"—what a joke! Edit: After contacting them again, the case has been reopened. I'll update this review if their investigation reaches an accurate conclusion.

Great service for 5 years and counting Hey @no-ip, your service can do with a 'troubleshooting help' link near your front page. I've been using this service for about 5 years now and had *zero* downtime. This company just gets me what I need: some free subdomain with a dns record that's easy and cheap to automatically update I've noticed a lot of negative reviews, and I've had several peers get upset (and blame no-ip) when they couldn't figure out why they couldn't get their things running as expected. Unfortunately, their disappointment was often misplaced. Perhaps no-ip could put some 'general instructions for port forwarding' or something for more novice users? Overall, I love this service
