GBDon't listen to diet gurus. Listen to your own genes. I have been impressed with the quality of information at this site. I finally know what I should eat, based on my own genes, not from what some diet guru believes. There's all kinds of information about diet, genes, lab draws, latest studies in nutrition and much more. They're obviously personally invested in the science. They have been responsive to my questions and very helpful. I have gotten a GeneFood diet report for myself my husband, and plan to get one for my sons. At last, I have a much better idea what is the right 'fuel' for my body.

GBCarbs are GOOD Once I went back to carbs (based on the Okinawa diet) and quit the whole 30/paleo diet as well as any attempts at Keto or low-carb, my weight stopped rising, and actually started to go down (and I didn't even follow the Okinawa diet very strictly, and did no caloric restriction)! This is with a metabolic resistant condition that makes any kind of weight loss or sustainability nearly impossible; per my doctor. I also love the foods listed in Okinawa diet. So it's not a restrictive diet in any sense for me. I feel like I'm eating what I've always wanted to eat anyway. Plus, I do add in whatever else I might want, while still seeing benefits of eating this way.

GBI first became interested in Gene Food… I first became interested in Gene Food because of their blog, which I've found to be one of the most interesting and non-ideological nutrition blogs on the web. I then got their personalized nutrition report, which was well worth the money even though I've had a serious interest in nutrition for almost four decades now. I also found their customer support to be very good as well.

GBGene food is a fantastic tool for… Gene food is a fantastic tool for anyone who cares about their long term health. If you want to live and long and healthy life gene foods data is crucial. That said, I think the diet guide could use some work. It’s helpful but in my opinion unrealistic for most people to keep up with. It is monotonous and recommends CPG’s which are unappealing. Bottom line: great site. Crucial data that is incredibly accurate, only drawback is the nutrition plan which can be easily updated.
