GBI first became interested in Gene Food… I first became interested in Gene Food because of their blog, which I've found to be one of the most interesting and non-ideological nutrition blogs on the web. I then got their personalized nutrition report, which was well worth the money even though I've had a serious interest in nutrition for almost four decades now. I also found their customer support to be very good as well.

GBBest Health Decision Of My Adult Life Acquiring a custom nutrition plan from Gene Food was the single best health decision of my adult life. I came upon Gene Food quite by accident. I was doing a Google search for Histamine Intolerance and came upon John O'Connor's blog post entitled "Don't Fear The Frig" something I had been doing for awhile. For 10 years I had been following the food and lifestyle protocols of Myers; Wentz; Ballantyne; and Axe to help me with my thyroid disease. The result being a cascade of food related health problems that left me very ill. After reading John's blog post, sending Gene Food my DNA sample and acquiring a custom nutrition plan-which happens in minutes-no waiting required-I learned that I had been eating all the wrong food. I now have clarity of the food I am to be eating. I frequent the Gene Food blog & the Gene Food podcast. John O'Connor and Dr. Aaron Gardner are focused on providing individuals with the very best science based information today. I believe their individualized approach, not the "one size fits all" seen frequently, is the future of optimizing health and wellness.

GBI’ve learned a lot..!! I’ve learned a lot through this service and realized the diet I was following was not in alignment with my genetic profile. I’m trying out this new diet now and hope it will have positive impacts on my blood markers! They have been very responsive to my questions while I attempt to understand this new approach and very patient with all my questions.

GBDon't listen to diet gurus. Listen to your own genes. I have been impressed with the quality of information at this site. I finally know what I should eat, based on my own genes, not from what some diet guru believes. There's all kinds of information about diet, genes, lab draws, latest studies in nutrition and much more. They're obviously personally invested in the science. They have been responsive to my questions and very helpful. I have gotten a GeneFood diet report for myself my husband, and plan to get one for my sons. At last, I have a much better idea what is the right 'fuel' for my body.

BGI am happy with the results I am happy with the results - they are quite extensive and what I expected. Lots of science-backed explanations. As a note for improvement - some of the links for the scientific explanation of some genes are not working, and the company could work more on the specific meal plan (although it is good enough as it is - this is not the core service in my opinion).
