Complete scam, will attempt to steal your money Complete scam. By their instructions, you have to call in to cancel, so they don't make it easy. They 'upgraded' people from free to paid plan with an email notice (which will probably end up in your spam folder) so you will get charged without your permission. I see a class action lawsuit brewing. Their service, when we used it, didn't work well. Poor connectivity, bad user experience, notifications weren't sent, etc.

The data speeds are much faster than… The data speeds are much faster than other MVNO carriers and coverage is just as good. Compared to my past carriers FreedomPop gets the job done better value for money. Customer service will always be willing to help if you have issues and just be cognizant of your usage to avoid overages and you will be perfectly satisfied. Make it easier to port numbers out to other carriers (such as Google Voice), it seems as though only the big 4 carriers support moving a number from FreedomPop

Not a scam, But Make sure you read the fine print TWICE! Another service with poor disclosures and even worse customer support. If you make sure to read every single letter on every singe page, you'll have a general idea of what you're getting. But some information is only explained in more detail after you sign up, as it can be exhausting to have to scour every page for info. The one time I clicked a checkbox for a option without reading the "More info" url, I was instantly charged for adding a service! No mention of the pricing on the whole page, no pop-up conformation prompt, just an instant charge to my paypal account, so I turned it off within seconds, and contacted support and they refused to fund it, as I had already "used the service" even if I gained no benefits from it in the seconds it was active. In short, I've used tons of paid services, and almost always read every 'learn more' link I'm presented with. But this is the first one that I feel I had to walk on egg shells by just using.

Perfect first cell phone FreedomPop is a great service for introducing kids to their first cell phones. You can start with a free or inexpensive plan, then ramp us as budget or need allows. It requires a bit of perseverence, the app takes some getting used to

The ideal service The service is ideal for someone like myself that rarely uses the cell and doesn't want a huge plan.
