We have used SocketLabs facilities in a non-conventional way We have used SocketLabs facilities in perhaps a non-conventional way and have been very satisfied with the service. The only issue we have had is that some of the devices do not work with the SMTP server for some unknown reason. We use SocketLabs SMTP service to send alarms and status of equipment in the field to those that need to know. In years gone by this was simple to do with virtually any SMTP server you had a relationship with and some even that you did not. This is no longer the case. We are a relatively low volume user of SocketLabs but are very glad that the service exists because there are very few options available out there today.
