GBHappy to use XSUSENET I use XSusenet to access the usenet. Because those accesses are infrequent, I have taken advantage of their free service. My accesses have been reliable and trouble free. On the rare occasions I have needed to contact them, I have found their customer service both prompt and helpful. You can't ask more than that. I'm glad I found XSusenet and am eager to recommend them to my friends.

ATKudos to XSusenet I sincerely applaud XSusenet primarily because of consequently offering free usenet subscriptions for the public! Most interested people do not need power user access at full connection speed loading some years obsolete stuff. The currently new assets that are available for free are the right way to go. And regular accounts of XSusenet are quite good too - e.g. reasonable access time and speed for occasional piracy at very moderate price. I do not understand why anybody asks for gigabit speeds and at least 5 years retention - these are least important features for usual users. My suggestion: Combine free access to the new assets with cheap paid service or Black Friday block for the older stuff and you are well served paying just peanuts - one year downloading all you want costs no more than single menu at the restaurant.

NLA year subscription deleted after 2 months and they don't answer mails A year subscription deleted after 2 month. Since a week I can not login anymore although I have a paid account valid for 1 year but they deleted my account for no good reason. The account was valid until october 2020, but is useless now. Worst of all they won't answer to any of the messages posted on their website.

GBSupport is abysmal I have had this service for months, even years. I continually receive authentication errors from my newsreader (never happened with any other usenet service provider I have used). I tried to get support to resolve, but they are totally useless. After many messages, they always resort to 'create a new account.' The error was mainly a nuisance error...that is, if I ignored it downloads would still happen, but about every few months I am unable to download anything. And every time support has no clue or no ability to help.

ZAAvoid at all cost I would strongly advise against using XS Usenet's services. I have been using them without issue for a few years, but since they released a new client portal, I've failed to renew my subscription so it expired. So I tried terminating the old subscription and getting a new one about a week ago. My credit card was charged and I received the invoice indicating it was paid, but the account is still pending and I have no login credentials. After a day or so I opened a support ticket, to which I got no reply. A day alter I then replied to that ticket again, in case it got lost. Still no reply. Then I emailed their support and got no reply. Then I tried to phone them, but their number is not in service. According to their website, they hired a new customer satisfaction team about a month ago, but from all perceivable evidence, they just don't exist anymore. I guess they just kept the billing systems in place to leech some money off of unsuspecting potential customers, but everything else seems to be shut down.
