Terrible software The only reason you want to buy it is for decorating your website. The software is rich of features and nice UI. But if you want a real working software, stay away for the following reason: 1/ It WILL crash your server as soon as you have many users chatting 2/ The support is stupid in term of technical knowledge 3/ The way they do coding is really stupid and messy. CometChat Go User Having "demo'd" several different chat functions, I chose CometChat based on both the easy of use, simple API and top service. CometChat we're able to get the function up and running quickly and have patiently integrated the service to meet my exact needs. This integration service along with the customer service and care has been exceptional. CometChat has also been extremely well received by our user base, with a string of positive feedback, from appearance, easy of use, mobile capabilities etc All in all really really pleased with CometChat. Look elsewhere cometchat is terrible. We installed the comet chat service, and had it for the past year. We have not been able to roll it out and have our client use the system because of the many bugs and the poor response from the support. The site gives the impression that the software is a one time fee.... which is true but what is not said is that the software is updated at least once a month, and within he first 30 days of the use of the service it was not working. Cometchat told us that it needed to be updated, oh and by the way we don't do that unless you have our support package at an extra high cost. What else is that the software has not worked smoothly at all, it works fine for a day or two then it has problems again. Crosstalk and looping messages and crashing apps. There is not a month of trouble free use, it is constantly broken and when updated the android and apple apps must be recompiled as well adding further down time. ... In conclusion I do not recommend this product and if I could get a refund if I would. Oh but wait they don't refund you for software that doesn't work.

I have been using Comet CHAT PLATINUM… I have been using Comet CHAT PLATINUM FOR SEVERAL YEARS and i have been very pleased with it . It has got better andbetter over theyears nad my users have enjoyed the system . I like that fact that thre team continue to roll out regualr updates and improvements and always on hand to help if you have problems .

Is cometchat going out of business??? This company is now unresponsive except when they want your money. I recently purchased the Platinum self hosted edition for close to $500 as well as the mobile edition for another $500. I asked their team to install it and before I could even launch, there were bugs. I'm supposed to have premium phone support and priority email/chat support with my package but can't reach anybody. It's a never ending revolving door. The phone number is US only (I'm in Canada) and I haven't received a response to multiple support requests for days so I can launch my site. They had no problem taking my thousand bucks and nobody told me they would be changing their platform and that mine would be obsolete before I could even use it. Cometchat...what is going on? Or are you going out of business?
