GBElaborate Scam We tried three times to use tock. Each time they charged us money in advance only for the restaurants to have never heard of tock before, and leading to a huge billing issue each time. Until now, we haven't been able to use our money on tock, and there's no way to remove it. And all support does is give default answers. Fairly convinced their business model is to make the product almost impossible to use so that they people just never use the money they actually have. If you like someone, NEVER gift them a tock gift card - it's the worst thing you can do to someone

GBFirst of all I agree with all the previous reviews First of all I agree with all the reviewer comments, this service has all the appearance of a scam and if at all possible Tock should figure out a way to better market their offering so people know before hand what they ae purchasing. I had an example of a restaurant in the Monterrey CA area using Tock to make a reservations but they will not accept a Tock gift card. All Tock support would offer is the have no control over they business and therefore no responsibility. Pretty shady. I would also question this review board giving Tock 2.2 stars when every single review is a one star.

GBI find Resy and OpenTable are far… I find Resy and OpenTable are far better user experiences for diners. Tock charges asinine fees to diners and makes splitting a bill need a spreadsheet. I'd rate Tock 0/5 stars.

GBGreed, expecting customers to pay to reserve Tock charging a 20% service fee for what amounts to an incredibly simple CRUD scheduling app is an outright scam forced upon users. Restaurants should heavily reconsider implementing this service as it deters potential customers from making reservations.

GBBeware of Tock Beware of Tock! My recent experience with this platform has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the get-go, I encountered credentialing issues, with Tock allowing an incorrect domain ('.clm') to be validated, highlighting glaring data, security, and UX concerns. Despite multiple attempts to rectify the situation, Tock's support team provided inadequate assistance and failed to address the core issues. Furthermore, Tock's handling of reservation cancellations is abysmal. Conflicting cancellation policies between Tock and the associated restaurant, Philotimo, created unnecessary confusion and frustration. It's unacceptable for a booking platform to shift responsibility and defer crucial decisions to the restaurant without providing clear guidance or resolution. Overall, my experience with Tock has been marred by incompetence, poor customer service, and a blatant disregard for user satisfaction. I strongly advise against using this platform for any reservations. Furthermore, my attempts to cancel a Valentine's Day reservation through Tock were met with sheer frustration and disappointment. Despite numerous requests for cancellation and a pending charge on my credit card, Tock's support team proved utterly inept at facilitating the process. This lack of responsiveness and failure to honor cancellation requests is not only infuriating but also reflects Tock's disregard for customer convenience and satisfaction.
