GBI have been with them for 30 years I have been with them for 30 years, but last week, their firewall has locked me out of sending and receiving emails. I'm basically sunk. So i have called tech support and they said it would be resolved in 72 hours. The worst. I am actively going to one.com. what a difference. Update: I have reviewed the response from Samantha and frankly you should check wit your technical team, before you respond. You (carrierzone - your provider) has put in geo locking for email - so if you leave the USA you email will stop working. I am on travel for a few weeks and I cannot send or receive email. This has destroyed my trip, but it's OK the 'TEAM' at earthlink said they could unlock it, but it actually takes a week for EACH county. UPDATE #2: I now have email access in London - but guess what - they have turned off me access from the USA (I can tell since email does not work with my VPN turned on). I'll have to file another ticket to see if I can get my IP unblocked from the USA. This will take another '72 hours'

GBIf only I could leave zero stars If only I could leave zero stars, why does it take 7-10 business days to fully be removed from your internet service, kinda feels like a punishment for switching services. Do a bit more shopping, find a better deal - or do what earthlink does and just use AT&T.

GBNo log-in, then No emails… No log-in then password change (not easy with them) then all emails shown were lost, moved or deleted. No after hours support. Day time support yesterday for the log-in issue was snarky and unpleasant. After 24 years I did expect better.

GBBeware of Earthlink's Unfair Practices and Poor Customer Service with Earthlink… Our recent experience with Earthlink has left us thoroughly disillusioned and frustrated. After relocating to a new area where Earthlink does not offer service, we had no choice but to cancel our subscription. However, what followed was a harrowing ordeal marked by Earthlink's unreasonable policies and lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Despite our earnest explanation to Earthlink representatives that our cancellation was solely due to their inability to serve our new location, they callously insisted on imposing an early cancellation fee. We pleaded with the managers we spoke with, hoping for some understanding and leniency given our circumstances. However, our appeals fell on deaf ears as they remained unwilling or unable to waive the fee. We were promised that the executive team would reach out to discuss the matter further. While they did attempt to contact us, we were unfortunately out of town at the time and missed their call. Since then, we have diligently pursued a resolution by reaching out to Earthlink on numerous occasions, only to be met with silence and indifference. Nearly two months have passed since our initial attempt to address this issue, yet we are no closer to a resolution. The utter disregard for customer concerns and the lack of responsiveness from Earthlink are simply unacceptable. In conclusion, our experience with Earthlink has been nothing short of a nightmare. We feel unjustly penalized for circumstances beyond our control, while Earthlink demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. We caution prospective customers to think twice before choosing Earthlink for their internet needs, as our experience serves as a stark warning of their unfair practices and abysmal customer service.

GBBeen with earthink for a few years and… Been with earthink for a few years and at first they were really good.I got a phone call last week that I needed to pay my bill to avoid it being terminated.I told the lady I would not have it until Friday. The lady said okni will note it in the system you will be paying it on Friday. So I wake up and it is not working so I called and the representative said we don't do extensions anymore.I told her about my phone call with the lady with said I was good until Friday. This representative already had a little snarky attitude off the rip and said it's disconnected and you owe 90 something dollars now instead of the 60 something.I asked her if the reconnect can be added to next months bill and she told me no they don't do that anymore. So I asked to speak to someone who could help me because i am struggling and she popped of with so you want to dispute a valid charge??? Who do you suggest I get to help you?She was really not polite and this wasn't the first time I'm really just about done with this company because some of them are really nice and some are so rude.
