Service itself is poor Service itself is poor. We've been with this company for less than a year, and had technicians attempt to fix connection issues several times, until we had enough and switched to a more reliable company. Although they reluctantly provided a small refund for a portion of the time we were without service, they continued to bill us because of the contract terms, even though we HAD NO SERVICE. Would not recommend this provider.

I was a 25 year Earthlink customer I am a 25 year Earthlink customer. Recent password reset which they said "you might have been hacked". Vague, inconsistent advice and failure to fulfill my repeated requests to have Earthlink Security contact me. When I told the help that I would have to terminate my service after 25 years they said "sorry for your inconvenience. Addt'ly, download speeds uniformly much slower than I was paying for. Overall very shabby service for the high monthly rates paid.

Earthlink DOES NOT HAVE PARENTAL CONTROLS Earthlink is stuck in the dark ages. They do not have any modern features we take for granted in 2024. I signed up for their home internet (in Sparks, NV) because I was trying to avoid Spectrum and AT&T who I am not a fan of. They told me I was getting fiber internet. THEY DO NOT HAVE A MODERN APP. THEY DO NOT HAVE PARENTAL CONTROLS. YOU CANNOT RESET YOUR NETWORK PASSWORD WITHOUT CONTACTING THEM. Their account portal looks like it was built in 2000, and it hasn't been updated since. Not much you can do there. THERE ISN'T MUCH YOU CAN DO ON THEIR WEBSITE OR THEIR APP EXCEPT PAY YOUR BILL OR LOOK AT AN OLD AOL LOOKING HOMEPAGE TO ACCESS INTERNET/ WHAT?! It's 2024 ya'll! THEY DONT TELL YOU THEY ARE ARE SALE PARTNER OF AT&T. The AT&T van pulled up. A technician wearing AT&T shirt installed AT&T branded equipment. They tell you you are buying Fiber internet, but that's not what the technician said! The internet service is good (It's AT&T). BUT I'm paying $24/month more for the exact same internet service I could get from AT&T directly... NO WAIT THAT IS WRONG, because with AT&T I'd have modern account features that I took for granted with Xfinity (which isn't available here). AT&T has a modern app and offers parental controls, home modem management (reset/troubleshoot/ password reset) NOT EARTHLINK though... And the real kicker! They are shisty about their contracts. They don't tell you anything in writing. They bury fine print so deep you don't know and their reps misrepresent the terms. There is an archaic $200 early termination fee from the year contract they lock you into. It's not prorated folks! So you pay $24/mo more for the same internet service with less account and network features, and if you need parental controls...guess what it will cost you $200 to cancel and go to AT&T directly. BUT WAIT it get better. You can't take advantage of any of AT&T switch and save promotions because you have AT&T service at your address through one of their partners. Totally shisted! Buyer Beware. Earthlink is a dumpster fire.

The worst internet provider I have ever dealt with. I work from home and my internet went down on 09.29.23 and earthlink has provided nothing but lies and delays. Everyday my internet is down I can not work. I have already missed 7 days and counting. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They promise a technician will come out I wait from 8-5 and he never shows up. Avoid this company at all costs!!!

I have been with them for 30 years I have been with them for 30 years, but last week, their firewall has locked me out of sending and receiving emails. I'm basically sunk. So i have called tech support and they said it would be resolved in 72 hours. The worst. I am actively going to one.com. what a difference. Update: I have reviewed the response from Samantha and frankly you should check wit your technical team, before you respond. You (carrierzone - your provider) has put in geo locking for email - so if you leave the USA you email will stop working. I am on travel for a few weeks and I cannot send or receive email. This has destroyed my trip, but it's OK the 'TEAM' at earthlink said they could unlock it, but it actually takes a week for EACH county. UPDATE #2: I now have email access in London - but guess what - they have turned off me access from the USA (I can tell since email does not work with my VPN turned on). I'll have to file another ticket to see if I can get my IP unblocked from the USA. This will take another '72 hours'
