Very bad software Very bad software. Clunky, inaccurate and completely unable to find the lowest fare. A nightmare for expenses which have to be done by a specialized employee anyway. Why are institutions using this software is a mystery

Utter misery every single time you have… Utter misery every single time you have to use it. Leads to circling of reports back and forth for eternity over inane details, huge interruptions in work responsibilities, out-of-pocket expenses, interrogation and denial of basic work supplies, and disproportion so that rote work expenses (ink for a printer, lights, insurance) become more time consuming than the core responsibilities these expenses are for. Absolute nightmare. The shadow work of a system like this is a kind of sanctioned theft from employees. Avoid at all costs. Every time I have to use it this system ruins my work flow and my day.

Solid travel and expense solution. Not sure what is going on with all of the 1 star reviews. We have used Concur for about 10 years and are very happy with it. I suspect either the solution was sold to smaller firms that don’t have internal resources to support the app or it was sold and configured by an unqualified 3rd party. Their mobile app is stable and easy to use. The app has the ability to take a picture of your receipt, auto crop, and auto discover the transaction type and value. Saves me a ton of time. Filing a report is also very straightforward. We also use it to book our travel. I think your success here will depend upon the travel agency partner you choose. Otherwise we were very happy with the functionality offered. We integrated Concur with our Oracle ERP. The expense data are imported directly into the GL with all of the correct coding. Saves the finance team a ton of time. Their services and support team was good. Although, they were better before their acquisition by SAP. Overall, I would buy Concur again.

Cannot run an annual mileage report Just when I think Concur couldn't get any more un-user friendly, it comes up with another surprise. I need to run a report for my year end tax return, yet there is no way of doing this unless I have 'reporting' rights. How absolutely useless!!! I just want a tally of my annual business mileage but have had to go to our personnel department. I am now having to keep a book in the car with details of mileage from every trip - I should not have to do this, Concur should be making things easier, not harder.

So bad, it's... bad Question your sanity! Ask yourself if you'd be better off throwing your laptop into the sea and living the life of a hermit (in the woods? Up a mountain? The choices are endless)! These are the kind of thoughts you'll have whilst using this clapped out, buggy, maliciously un-user friendly piece of garbage that is masquerading as an expenses platform.
