GBDropped connections, lying about locations, slow speed Dropped connections. Often abysmal speeds. They lie about the location where you will appear after connecting to a remote location in another country. It seems you select New York, NY for example and when you check the IP address with "What's My IP Address?" it will show London, UK, or Miami, FL? WTH?!!?!

FRWhy I will not renew with HMA I've been an HMA user for a few years. Why ? First because of price, HMA beeing cheaper than others. Because the interface is easy. And that is all the positive. The negative list is longer. - Big mix up upon subscription that ended in double subscription. - Customer service selectively responds to questions. Anything controversial, for example about finances, is ignored. - If you want to use HMA to work around geographical blocs from other service providers (TV services for example) HMA DOESN'T WORK period. Their IPs get detected. - some of their IPs are extremely slow. I do not recommend HMA and personally I will not renew.

GBUseless with Linux Useless with Linux. Have never been able to connect (all connection instructions point you to *.ovpn files on pages that 404 out), yet the company keeps charging me monthly. Customer service is unresponsive or unhelpful. I don't need my hand held, but I can't connect when I'm pointed to config files don't exist!

GBDon't waste your money! The company claims that it can offer IP location services that may not work properly, especially in certain locations in the Middle East. So, if this is what you're looking for, be cautious and consider whether it's worth your investment.

NOHas been a customer for years but no iPlayer Has been a customer for years but the bad performance and lack of support over the last months has sent me to a competitor. The VPN does not support BBC iPlayer use from outside UK. I have two support cases about this but no reply from the company
