Buyer Beware! Buyer Beware! I had a legitimate claim for a refund...PayPal opened a claim with Microsoft which gave them a month to reply to request. However Microsoft to not refund after 16 days! I had been royally stiched up. PayPal as a gesture of Goodwill made me whole, this was because of UK trading laws. I wonder if Microsoft pulls this disingenuous trick often?

Unfortunately I needed to use a windows… Unfortunately I needed to use a windows based computer to make life easy for a client.. as my Mac and OneDrive was having glitches.. So I bought a Surface pro 10 for bussiness.. Computer seems ok.. however setting up office 365 and one drive proved to be a nightmare.. I had a bussiness account.. but it didn’t acknowledge this when setting up and just wants me to upgrade the office 365.. nowhere did it ask me do I already have an existing account.. I called up customer service. Who get a engineer to call you.. but they either can’t here you talking or ring off before you have time to answer.. absolutely terrible customer service.. and rubbish supporting eco system.. Apple have gone down hill I recent years in my opinion.. but they are still way ahead of Microsoft in customer service and ease of use.. just a shame they are way over priced these.. still worth it after my experience today.

Microsoft - when did a simple thing like updating an email address become so complex you need a PhD degree to do it? I have always been a fan of Microsoft, but something happened today that really upset me. My bank in South Africa now uses Microsoft Teams to verify bona fide clients overseas. As I am now retired, I have had no reason to use Teams until requested to do so today by my bank. When I first signed-up with Teams (a long time ago) I had a Gmail account. However, last year I closed this Google account and, after purchasing Microsoft 365, I opened an Outlook email address. When I tried to open Teams it sent a code to my defunct gmail address -- one I can no longer access – so I could not login into Teams. I have just spent two hours with their chat bots and phoning telephone numbers that do not work. As I am not well I found this exhausting – and am now extremely anxious as my bank -- quite urgently -- needs to talk to me over Team. Then a pop-up came onto my screen from someone claiming to be a Microsoft Technician who said he would fix my problem for one pound – this is a first for me – when did Microsoft become so averous? Worse still he asked me to sign-up for 36 pounds a month for any future queries I might have. This is all absurd and diabolical – and I certainly do not give my bank details to a stranger. I am now at a loss as what to do. How did Microsoft make the simple act of updating an email address become so complex that one needs a PhD to do it

Fantastic support from Abdul-Basit! Abdul-Basit is a fantastic customer service agent and made my day by fixing an irritating keyboard issue I was having. He provided a solution that I could not find on the internet, and was extremely polite, efficient and reassuring throughout. Thank you!

Impossible to contact Impossible to contact. Virtual assistants and website take you round in circles. I have been unable to access my work e-mail account since 13 April, causing mayhem to my business. Its a Microsoft federation issue linked to my Godaddy domain. All I get is the following when I try to log in; AADSTS50107: the requested federation realm "sso:godaddy:xxxxx.co.uk" does not exist. No-one can tell me when this will be resolved. At Microsoft there is nobody to ask.
