GBTerrible Dinner in Hotel Breakfast Area I bought 2 tickets for Dinner + Vienna Mozart Orchestra / 1870 Restaurant Terrace / Musikverein - GoldenHall. The 1870 Restaurant is on the top floor of the Grand Hotel Wien. When I arrived the staff told me that the restaurant was booked for a private event and to proceed to the 1st Floor. The staff seated us at their hotel breakfast buffet area. We had a choice of fish or chicken. I chose the chicken. The plate was brought to me with 3 chicken nugget size pieces of chicken thigh meat and a lemon half to squeeze over it. There was nothing else on the plate. I tried to eat it but it was too greasy. I don’t write bad reviews, but this was a total rip off. I paid a lot of money to have a nice dinner with my wife at a nice restaurant. What we got instead was seating in a loud hotel lobby and an entree that wouldn’t meet McDonald’s standards. They even charged us $9 Euros for the bottle of water we drank. The soup and desert were fine and we enjoyed the concert, but don’t buy the dinner!

GBMisrepresentation I went to the Mozart house concert. The music was good - but it was not in Mozart's house! The entire purpose of the concert was the ornate decorations and history of the venue. Instead, we were in an abhorrently decorated modern room where they didn't even bother to unwrinkle the carpet the musicians were playing on. I have no recollection of them telling me it wasn't in the normal venue before purchasing - if they did, they must have sneaked it in somewhere where the customer doesn't see it. Awful rip-off, praying on tourists. It was hard to even enjoy the musicians when I was so disappointed I had fallen for their ploy like a shmuck - and then they have the audacity to charge for water in their swelteringly hot modern building that despite it's being at least fifty times younger than the actual building, does not have air conditioning. Better to call ahead and double-check everything before dealing with this vendor.

ATTwo splendid evenings... We experienced two evenings with Vienna Concerts on a recent trip to Austria, once in Salzburg and once in Vienna. On both evenings, we were well looked after and the meal was most enjoyable but it was the music which made the evenings special. This is particularly so with the Mozart concert in Salzburg.

GBA wonderful experience! The online experience was very easy. The service at the concert was amazing! We were treated in a very sincere and special way. It was a magical night from beginning to end! The only somewhat negative, was that the venue was difficult to find. More information about how to find the unique location would be helpful.

DEMay not have understood it but thoroughly enjoyed it Had never been to a classical concert before - so while in Vienna I thought why not. I was captivated by the location and enthralled by the music. The time just flew by. Yes I possibly didn't fully understand Vivaldi's Four Seasons but boy did I enjoy it.
