GBI was getting a little nervous… I was getting a little nervous because whoever the third party was who was selling these tickets to me off this website didn't email them right away. I waited about 3 days and then emailed customer service to inquiring as to whether or not I had been scammed. I promptly recieved a call from Eticketboxoffice. The guy on the line explained to me that when the price of the tickets are high, like the ones I had purchased, they sometimes take a while to process to the 3rd party. He said something like they have to check to make sure the credit card charge is valid. Then he offered to give me closer seats which he could send right away at no extra charge for my inconvenience. I was dazed and confused and then suddenly excited...the new ticket seats came via email in less than 10 minutes like he said, and now I'm in the orchestra 3rd row of the metropolitain Opera's new years Gala concert. This has made my wife's Christmas. 5 stars for customer service! The tickets are printed and they look legit. I'm sure I'll have no trouble getting in. Thank you guys for the free seat upgrade!

GBDeceitful second class business This is honestly the first bad review I have ever written since I'm not normally a complainer, but what I have been put through by eticketboxoffice.com is down right wrong. After spending $1900 last year as a X-mas gift for my wife for tickets to see Andre Bocelli, the April 20th event @ the MET was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 6th I received an email saying I would get my refund within 30 days so on April 20th I called Eticketboxoffice and the office said I would have to write an email to request a refund which I did. The next day a reply came back saying no refunds due to the Pandemic and the called the Force Majeure card on me saying I can get a voucher for a future event. I do not want to see a future event I want to see Andre and besides I'm fourloughed from my job due to the COVID-19 crisis so why should I have to float this money to this large company I could use it to pay off my CC debt. My wife bought tickets through Ticketmaster and her event was canceled also because of COVID-19 and she got a full refund. I even talked to the supervisor and he said if they gave everyone a refund they would be out of business. Frankly this is not my problem. I paid for a service(concert) that I did not get so they need to do the right thing and refund people's money. If I learned anything from this disaster, do not go through a deceitful, second class business. They should be ashamed of themselves to treat people they way they are under the circumstances when many other companies are helping those in need.

GBFirst they check your LinkedIn...what are they looking for? Don't use them. Before they responded to my email to cancel my tickets, they checked my linkedin profile. That's certainly raised eyebrows amongst people. Not sure if they do that to everyone, or just select "certain" individuals. Then they won't honor the ticket available date under the IMPORTANT NOTE on the website, instead saying it will be released only prior to the start of the show. They say that's in the Terms of Service, which funnily enough, aren't readable after you buy the tickets. The phone support said they're just a call service, and can't do anything but email the company.

GBIf you don't want to be scammed RUN AWAY! I purchased one ticket with this company for a show. When I processed the ticket I thought it was odd that I had no seat assignment. So I spoke with customer service, she told me she would call me back in 15 mins to let me know. She never called back, I called her and there was no answer. In the span of an hour before I got a seat assignment. I now have a work obligation that I can not get out of. I purchased the Allianz Insurance to protect my ticket because as I’ve been told by reputable ticket companies. Purchasing the ticket insurance allows me to get my money back if I need to cancel. There policy is no cancellations which I found odd because anytime I’ve bought a ticket through an event company or ticket processing company. Once you purchase the insurance, cancelling is not a problem. I emailed them telling them the situation and kindly asking for my money back. But they then said they couldn’t. I replied saying I understand the policy but I purchased the insurance which cancels out their policy, the charge was in fact still pending, they could resell the ticket because I’m not going to be in the country and that it was suspicious to me that I received my seat assignment almost an hour after purchasing it. I then requested a phone call where I spoke to the previous employee. The excuses I was given are as follows: 1. We had a lot of people who would cancel and then try to use the ticket so we changed our policy 2. If we do this for you then we have to do this for everyone. I calmly told her those excuses are no way to run a business considering you allow people to purchase the insurance. Which automatically entitles me to my money back since I A. Haven't used the ticket b. The event is next week on Saturday giving them plenty of time to resell the ticket c. This isnt kindergarten, you are running a business and this logic is quite frankly pathetic. I then asked to speak to the manager who then proceeded to give me the following excuses: 1. We specifically picked out this ticket just for you 2. We go to the box office to get your ticket so once you get its nothing we can do 3. The event is sold out. Which all three are lies, I’ve worked in hospitality and customer service for over 10 years. These excuses are just a way to mask the scam they are trying to pull on people. his is the first time I’ve ever filed a complaint against a business and I get it. You change your policy in order to protect yourselves. But if a customer calls you in an hour after purchasing the ticket, has purchased the insurance AND tells you they won’t be using the ticket at all. They should get their money back without any hassle. And without using the Pre-K logic well if we make and exception for you then we have to do it for Timmy too. RUN AWAY FROM THESE TWO SCAMMERS! The insurance company rejected my claim and when I called the Box Office. They told me they've been having problems with this company and that consumers should never use them because these two are FRAUDS!
