GBMETROPOLITAN OPERA SCAM. We paid over $600 for two premium… We paid over $600 for two premium tickets to see La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera last week. Thankfully my husband insisted they email the tickets early because we were flying and he insists on having things printed out. Tickets arrived and they were the back row Orchestra...I looked it up and these are $97 tickets. I called and was referred to someone else who would only communicate via email. I was offered credit but no refund. Thankfully American Express fraud department took care of it and we were able to purchase proper tickets from the Met site. They APPEAR TO BE THE MET SITE WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR TICKETS. I spoke to representatives from the Met office who are aware of this scam...in response to the response below, we did NOT CHOOSE TO SIT IN THE BACK ROW FOR $300 A TICKET. American Express has refunded the money you attempted to steal from us. Thanks.

GBTotally fraud Totally fraud! They're reselling tickets for events at a bloated price. They also don't seem to send the tickets to people half the time anyway. Don't buy tickets form them!

GBFirst they check your LinkedIn...what are they looking for? Don't use them. Before they responded to my email to cancel my tickets, they checked my linkedin profile. That's certainly raised eyebrows amongst people. Not sure if they do that to everyone, or just select "certain" individuals. Then they won't honor the ticket available date under the IMPORTANT NOTE on the website, instead saying it will be released only prior to the start of the show. They say that's in the Terms of Service, which funnily enough, aren't readable after you buy the tickets. The phone support said they're just a call service, and can't do anything but email the company.
