GBIf you don't want to be scammed RUN AWAY! I purchased one ticket with this company for a show. When I processed the ticket I thought it was odd that I had no seat assignment. So I spoke with customer service, she told me she would call me back in 15 mins to let me know. She never called back, I called her and there was no answer. In the span of an hour before I got a seat assignment. I now have a work obligation that I can not get out of. I purchased the Allianz Insurance to protect my ticket because as I’ve been told by reputable ticket companies. Purchasing the ticket insurance allows me to get my money back if I need to cancel. There policy is no cancellations which I found odd because anytime I’ve bought a ticket through an event company or ticket processing company. Once you purchase the insurance, cancelling is not a problem. I emailed them telling them the situation and kindly asking for my money back. But they then said they couldn’t. I replied saying I understand the policy but I purchased the insurance which cancels out their policy, the charge was in fact still pending, they could resell the ticket because I’m not going to be in the country and that it was suspicious to me that I received my seat assignment almost an hour after purchasing it. I then requested a phone call where I spoke to the previous employee. The excuses I was given are as follows: 1. We had a lot of people who would cancel and then try to use the ticket so we changed our policy 2. If we do this for you then we have to do this for everyone. I calmly told her those excuses are no way to run a business considering you allow people to purchase the insurance. Which automatically entitles me to my money back since I A. Haven't used the ticket b. The event is next week on Saturday giving them plenty of time to resell the ticket c. This isnt kindergarten, you are running a business and this logic is quite frankly pathetic. I then asked to speak to the manager who then proceeded to give me the following excuses: 1. We specifically picked out this ticket just for you 2. We go to the box office to get your ticket so once you get its nothing we can do 3. The event is sold out. Which all three are lies, I’ve worked in hospitality and customer service for over 10 years. These excuses are just a way to mask the scam they are trying to pull on people. his is the first time I’ve ever filed a complaint against a business and I get it. You change your policy in order to protect yourselves. But if a customer calls you in an hour after purchasing the ticket, has purchased the insurance AND tells you they won’t be using the ticket at all. They should get their money back without any hassle. And without using the Pre-K logic well if we make and exception for you then we have to do it for Timmy too. RUN AWAY FROM THESE TWO SCAMMERS! The insurance company rejected my claim and when I called the Box Office. They told me they've been having problems with this company and that consumers should never use them because these two are FRAUDS!

CAHighly Recommend I purchased my ticket to see La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera House. I received the E-Tickets a day before the performance on my email and on my cell phone via text as stated at the time of the purchase. I called the Support Team to ask about having dinner at the Met Opera House. I was informed that only restaurant at the Met Opera House is called the Grand Tier restaurant. The Support Team assisted me in making a reservation for the night of the performance, before the performance. That was so helpful! My husband and I had an amazing evening! Thanks Eticketsboxoffice!

GBMETROPOLITAN OPERA SCAM. We paid over $600 for two premium… We paid over $600 for two premium tickets to see La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera last week. Thankfully my husband insisted they email the tickets early because we were flying and he insists on having things printed out. Tickets arrived and they were the back row Orchestra...I looked it up and these are $97 tickets. I called and was referred to someone else who would only communicate via email. I was offered credit but no refund. Thankfully American Express fraud department took care of it and we were able to purchase proper tickets from the Met site. They APPEAR TO BE THE MET SITE WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR TICKETS. I spoke to representatives from the Met office who are aware of this scam...in response to the response below, we did NOT CHOOSE TO SIT IN THE BACK ROW FOR $300 A TICKET. American Express has refunded the money you attempted to steal from us. Thanks.

GBTotally fraud Totally fraud! They're reselling tickets for events at a bloated price. They also don't seem to send the tickets to people half the time anyway. Don't buy tickets form them!
