GBTerrible hardware A-Frame bracket I purchased is excellent, first class. However, the lag bolts I ordered with it were absolute garbage. I predrilled the holes and 2 of these broke off when screwing them in. Now I am stuck with posts with broken off bolts.

GBNot all hardware arrived! Required a trip to the hardware store to re-purchase "included" materials. I received my box yesterday and it was severely damaged in shipment. The way it was packaged was incredibly poor and none of the bags of the hardware were sealed, so the bolts, nuts, and washers roaming free in the box. Since the contents of the box are very heavy and have sharp edges, I would assume that a more heavy duty box would've been used. The contents inside were responsible for the 2 holes in the box, which resulted in me having to go to the hardware store to re-purchase half of the hardware required to assemble my swing-set. Such a huge disappointment!

GBA little disappointed, but the kids are happy Instructions are horrible, they're black and white and basically like a photo copy. A lot of typos, there were part numbers that didn't even exist. Had the add on wood roof and add on bottom clubhouse. There were no instructions for either. I had them email to me. And printed them out, in color. Which made it a lot easier to follow. A lot of the wood was warped. Roof supports didn't line up correctly, so the cap doesn't sit that well. It was delivered in like 9 boxes on a flatbed, 2 guys with a small hand cart that was about 1/4 the size of some of the boxes. And I had 2 roof pieces come cracked. I called up and they said we'll send them to you no charge but we'll need a cc# to charge you $20 shipping. Really!?! I spend $6,000 on a wood swing set with warped wood, bad instructions, missing instructions, missing bolts..... Forget it, you got enough of my money, I had to glue and clamp with construction adhesive. All said and done, it is an impressive set and my kids love it, but I'm not too sure if I would recommend this brand. Which after seeing ours, we have some family and neighbors who are thinking of making the investment on one of their own.

GBOk if fit right I had to use them because my kids were ready to swing. But the sides were concave making it extremely difficult to put 4x6 in. The steel actually split once in so far. I sanded down the 4x6 prior also. Overall great idea but needs some quality control to make sure fit is correct.

GBNice product but inadequate packaging I recently ordered the "Classic Cedar Swing Hardware Kit". Shipping took right at a week, not super fast but good enough. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of the product. Everything looks top end as it should for a $299 hardware kit. However, the packaging is woefully inadequate. I understand that this is a large, heavy package and it surely gets abused by the carrier. That is no fault of Eastern Jungle Gym. When I received my package it was severely damaged with several gaping holes. A bag of bolts busted as well and bolts were falling out of the box. Both metal brackets were hanging out of the box as well. Fortunately they were not scratched too bad. From the looks of the package I was sure that there would be numerous missing parts. By some miracle everything was accounted for. This could be pretty easily remedied by the following. First, wrap both metal brackets in bubble wrap and tape. They have a lot of sharp edge and angles that easily cut through the box and delicate plastic bags of hardware. Second, all the bolts/washers, etc should be placed in a small box, and then packed in the main box. The plastic bags they come in are not nearly durable enough to survive the shipping. All in all I felt pretty disappointed that more care was not given to protect my items. For a $299 product, this is not acceptable. So I would rate it as follows: quality of product...5 stars quality of packaging...1 star average rating....3 star
