StubHub is a complete scam StubHub is a complete scam! I will never use them again. I bought tickets in November 2023 for a concert in April 2024. I was told the day of the concert, 3 hours before the concert was supposed to start, that they no longer could provide the tickets I originally purchased. This was a graduation present for my son to see Willie Nelson, his dream concert! StubHub was completely unhelpful & unapologetic during the entire meltdown I was having on the phone begging them to help me since we were already on our way to the concert. They said there were no tickets available for me to chose alternative tickets because the prices of tickets skyrocketed from when I purchased them. I don't even understand how it is legal for StubHub to sell tickets to me when they never actually had the tickets to sell. I wish I would have done more research on this company prior to purchasing. DO NOT TAKE ANY CHANCES ON USING THIS COMPANY FOR PURCHASING TICKETS.

I recently sold several tickets on STubhub and got ripped off I recently sold several tickets on Stubhub. One of the sales the buyer failed to provide a delivery address until the day of the actual event (Texas Eclipse). Stubhub expected me to hand deliver to buyer (60 miles away). When I was already at the event (which you cannot leave and return). Informing Stubhub of this, they cancelled the sale and charged me a cancellation fee of roughly 60%. Not only did I have to eat the tickets, but this added insult to injury. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER sell on Stubhub if you dont want to get ripped off like this. The reason they have "Fanprotect" for buyer is because they ripoff the sellers.

Just another victim to a corporate scalper... Unfortunately I waited too long and had to purchase tickets from Stub Hub and not from the venue. The tickets that were labeled seats 7 & 8 I purchased, at a 300%+ markup, were a far cry from the General Admission Lawn Seats I received. The good old bait and switch. I trusted the site was good and giving me what I ordered as StubHub was very specific in their description of the tickets I ordered. I noticed on the day of the event these were the wrong tickets. After three phone calls to Stub Hub customer service, I was hung up on, told I was given the correct tickets, eventually was given the option for a 25% discount on my next purchase with StubHub, or my money back. I insisted that I just simply want my tickets I ordered and paid for to see the event. Then I was promised an email that was going to give me an option for similar or upgraded seats. This email was going to take several hours for me to receive though...no email after several hours, when I called back again, same thing...I was going to receive and email. No email. So I went to my event and found one of the staff at the show, explained how I just had my knees replaced and was not able to sit in the lawn and that's why I paid for actual seats and they were able to accommodate me and actually enjoy the show. I hope that I never have to use StubHub or any of the other secondary ticket sites again. I am tired or pay exorbitant prices for bait and switch practices and company corrupted moral practices.

Worked for me. I understand why StubHub gets some pretty bad reviews. People pay top dollar for tickets that often involve additional costs for travel and hotels and when things don't work out they are rightfully aggrieved. But StubHub are working in a very dynamic environment, transacting between millions of sellers and millions of buyers. And it is inevitable that things go wrong sometimes. I sincerely sympathise with those for whom this happens. My experience with StubHub has been positive. The tickets I have bought have worked, and their customer service has reached out to me, even called me, when things have not run smoothly. I do not believe that companies like StubHub should exist. Promotors should facilitate ticket resale at amicable rates, and put touts out of business. But they have no apparent interest to do so... and as a result both fans and artists suffer. But StubHub fills a market need, and does so well.

Yankees Opening Day Cluster Opening Day, Yankee Stadium. Ticket price was $250 per ticket, normal for home opener. Ticket convenience charge, or whatever they call it, was $71 per ticket. Egregious. Then, previously you could download the tickets to your device ahead of time. Not anymore. Had to go through security check line twice because I couldn't access the site or app to download the tickets. Never again.
