GBCustomer service is a little slow The game sounds fun, I guess my problem is with the customer service. The person that is answering me is nice enough, but it takes an entire day for them to give me one reply, this is probably all my fault though. I mistyped my email, and have been going back and forth for 5 days now trying to get my email corrected so I can login my account to keep track of things. She updated it, but it still does not let me in. I can't even reset the password because it doesn't recognize my email. I am guessing the customer service reps work from home, and do not have a VOIP like Ring Central to be able to take and make calls. So after this 5 months that we signed up for to get a good handle on the experience, I will be cancelling this box. The game sounds fun and all, but not sure that would be enough to help me through with the CS side of things. *Update* After my review was posted they contacted me, and 24 hours later the issue was resolved. Good follow up to a rough experience.

GBFun game, terrible customer service This review would be lower, but I actually enjoy the game a lot, just not the company or its policies. Escape the Invasion is more interested in your money than you as a customer, as I can clearly see from my interaction with customer service. Supposedly they send emails about upcoming renewals, which is clearly not the case because I was charged on my card without any preemption or warning. When I contacted customer service about this to see if they could make an exception to their rules (seeing as I never got the renewal email that I should have), I was talked to like a child. I was told - numerous times - by the rep Caitlin that I had apparently misunderstood or missed the information on the website about their policies. Regardless of the fact that I had or had not read the policies - which I had - that is no way to handle an escalation with a customer. It just seems like they are trying to place the blame everywhere else instead of admitting any fault. As someone in the public relations field, the way this company handles its customer service and customer retention is extremely poor. They didn’t even try to retain me as a customer when I asked to cancel, just went and did so. I would not be surprised if this company comes crashing down because it can’t properly handle customer service issues. I really wish this had not been the case because, like I said, the game is a lot of fun and very different from anything out there. However, it is not worth the hassle and lack of proper customer service.

GBEarth Break is fun & addicting This was an "out of the box" purchase for me and my wife -- and we are now addicted! The attention to detail within the box, its clues, and its storyline is incredible. Several of the objects brought me into a whole new world and felt like collectible items. As I was playing, it really felt like I was exploring this unknown, post-apocalyptic world. It had elements of "I Am Legend", "Fallout", "Aliens" and more. You really feel like the star of your own show when playing this game. One of the elements we really loved is that we don't really know what is real and what isn't and we get to make our own interpretation and can control our own destiny. In addition to loving the box, the company is absolutely amazing to deal with. The community is full of like-minded people. The support is top notch and always willing to help especially if you get stuck. This was a one-of-kind entertainment experience. We played for hours and didn't realize how much time past by. It was also way more engaging than us watching TV or movie, and it was way more involved and enthralling than a board game or even an escape room. I really can't recommend this enough and I look forward to the second box. It's great with family, friends, and spouses; although I could play alone, my wife would be mad about me jumping ahead.

GBApocalyptically Amazing !! It’s an alien apocalypse mystery story! Hello!!! Buy this, it’s honestly so much fun. Hunt a Killer, Empty Faces, Earth Break- all worth it. Hours and hours of fun and totally worth the price (when a regular escape room is $25/hour). Great activity to do by yourself or with your buddies. Plus there’s a huge online community of people swapping theories and hints, it’s really engaging. Love this company!
