Customer service is a little slow The game sounds fun, I guess my problem is with the customer service. The person that is answering me is nice enough, but it takes an entire day for them to give me one reply, this is probably all my fault though. I mistyped my email, and have been going back and forth for 5 days now trying to get my email corrected so I can login my account to keep track of things. She updated it, but it still does not let me in. I can't even reset the password because it doesn't recognize my email. I am guessing the customer service reps work from home, and do not have a VOIP like Ring Central to be able to take and make calls. So after this 5 months that we signed up for to get a good handle on the experience, I will be cancelling this box. The game sounds fun and all, but not sure that would be enough to help me through with the CS side of things. *Update* After my review was posted they contacted me, and 24 hours later the issue was resolved. Good follow up to a rough experience.

Not what I had hoped for I have completed two boxes. I find them tedious and some things are just arbitrary. Overall I am very disappointed. I love escape rooms, but this doesn't even come close. It's hard to tell when you are making progress. There are things you just guess at. There is swag in each box, but some is not really related to the case and I would rather they spent the money on a better experience. At this point I don't think I would sign up for Season 2 or any of their other games. Just very disappointing.

Having done Hunt A Killer and Empty… Having done Hunt A Killer and Empty Faces I was excited when this new series came and I have not been disappointed. Totally enjoyed it and can't wait for the next series

Quite disappointing Unfortunately waited to open the first box until we already had 3 of them on the table and now have 4. The remaining 3 may never be opened. I don't get the high reviews. You get a letter, a few (cool and high quality!) trinkets, and some card that you supposedly can use to access a website. I don't get how they can even call this a game. There was no game or mystery or story to the box. Just a letter about someone who went missing with no real clues or instructions on what you are even supposed to do. I'm glad others liked it but I will never buy one of these kind of boxes again. Was really looking forward to something interesting to do with my wife.

Fun game, terrible customer service This review would be lower, but I actually enjoy the game a lot, just not the company or its policies. Escape the Invasion is more interested in your money than you as a customer, as I can clearly see from my interaction with customer service. Supposedly they send emails about upcoming renewals, which is clearly not the case because I was charged on my card without any preemption or warning. When I contacted customer service about this to see if they could make an exception to their rules (seeing as I never got the renewal email that I should have), I was talked to like a child. I was told - numerous times - by the rep Caitlin that I had apparently misunderstood or missed the information on the website about their policies. Regardless of the fact that I had or had not read the policies - which I had - that is no way to handle an escalation with a customer. It just seems like they are trying to place the blame everywhere else instead of admitting any fault. As someone in the public relations field, the way this company handles its customer service and customer retention is extremely poor. They didn’t even try to retain me as a customer when I asked to cancel, just went and did so. I would not be surprised if this company comes crashing down because it can’t properly handle customer service issues. I really wish this had not been the case because, like I said, the game is a lot of fun and very different from anything out there. However, it is not worth the hassle and lack of proper customer service.
