GBShady company I've had malware more useful. I've owned tons of games for many years, and yet they all the sudden stop working. direct2drive is forcing me to register with them, even though the games have worked fine forever. Then when you try to activate with them, it doesn't work, and the link to request manual activation doesn't either. Currently I own multiple copies of Rome:Total War. between Steam, standalone, and whatever direct2drive acquired or thinks they acquired. I can't mod my steam version, and the one direct2drive bought or acquired is now unplayable. Between gamespy, steam, and direct2drive, I wish these fools would get out of the gaming business, and stop trying to covert existing and paid for games to their own systems every time they buy someone out.

GBI think it's a fantastic service. I've used D2D for 3 years now, and have never been dissappointed with the speed of downloads, considering you're downloading an entire game, and the selection's great. I've only had one hangup when trying to redownload a game, but the problem was solved by their customer service within 24 hours. Since first trying it, the only other place I've purchased games from was Steam, and only then for games that I can't get through any place but Valve, or when games are on sale. Speaking of which, I think that's about the only thing I can say that D2D isn't good at, discounts on games that aren't old.

GBPoor Customer Service I purchased several games from D2D, and now that Gamefly took over (over 6 weeks ago) almost none of my PC games are available for download. GS took over Impulse, and my games were available right away. I have contacted support at Gamefly several times, with no result except a promised a 20% discount, but that won't cut it if they cannot deliver what I already paid for. It seems that Gamefly bit off much more than they can chew, I would steer clear until they unsnarl the mess that they are in.

CADodgy site, be wary. Absolute garbage. Tried activating a code on Steam to find out it had already been activated by another account. Non existent support was no help. Avoid at all cost no matter how good the deals are. UPDATE: finally received new key that works, but I would still be wary.
