Great Price and great service! I ordered Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition from them today, for the best price I've seen for a new game like this. As soon as you order, you check your account page and download the serial key to put into Steam. Voila! It doesn't get any easier than that! Great game, great price, plus the Digital collectors edition.

Shady company I've had malware more useful. I've owned tons of games for many years, and yet they all the sudden stop working. direct2drive is forcing me to register with them, even though the games have worked fine forever. Then when you try to activate with them, it doesn't work, and the link to request manual activation doesn't either. Currently I own multiple copies of Rome:Total War. between Steam, standalone, and whatever direct2drive acquired or thinks they acquired. I can't mod my steam version, and the one direct2drive bought or acquired is now unplayable. Between gamespy, steam, and direct2drive, I wish these fools would get out of the gaming business, and stop trying to covert existing and paid for games to their own systems every time they buy someone out.

No problems on download and activation I have only used direct2drive once, but have had no problems. Downloaded the game just fine and both the preordercode and the actualy gamecode worked fine. I have not needed any contact with customersupport so cannot comment on that.

Dont know if i've been charged!! I went to buy and download the sims 3, put in a landline verification phoneline...said that it couldn't be processed please contact customer services so tried again, still the same thing. Now im worried I am going to be charged 3 times for a game i havent even got!!! ticket number 2833-8520786

Worth the time Everything went as well as I could have hoped. I downloaded "Dragon Age" without too much trouble. It took about 14 hours to download the 9GB game. I did have to restart the download once, but it wasn't much trouble. Once the download finished, I installed and activated the game with absolutely no trouble. All of the negative reviews that D2D received on this site and others had me worried, but it ended up being a pretty simple and painless process.
