DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM Re Astro a50 Headset These look the part but once warranty is done they break and customer services won't help you.. Now if these were cheap I'd understand, but they are top end pricing £320 in UK.. 13 months wear is insufficient and I believe breaches consumer regulations. Seriously considering a small court claim against them. The issue I've had is they decide too charge depending what mood its in.. I've done all the firmware updates and resets. Still does it.. they hardly got used for first six months. If you look on you tube the problems.are all over there.. unfortunately all reviews are set in stone by them so you can't update and tell the real story. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT PURCHASE. PRODUCTS POOR AND CUSTOMER SERVICES IS WORSE.

Love the headset, really dislike the poor customer service Honestly love the headset, sadly the dock I received was faulty and then I found out their customer support is worse. I sent it in for replacement, which they did replace. They (Lewis and Niko V. from customer support) then tell me to contact a third party shipping company without giving me any contact information. I can not find my package anymore as it has been returned to their address since they did not give me contact details at all. Now they have my money and my dock, and I have a headset I cannot use. Also the back and forth between customer support has been going on before I even shipped the dock on august 17th. edit: 25/09/2022 They say they are refunding me now, which is gonna take up to 14 days, maybe they're not so bad? Will update in 14 days (: edit: its now 20/10/2022 and I have yet to receive a refund or my dock back, rendering my headset useless. Very disappointed in Lewis and Niko V. Edit: 27/10/2022 Got the dock replacement today and it is working wonderful. changing my review from 2 -> 3

Astro a40 TR with mix amp pro is worst… Astro a40 TR with mix amp pro is worst headset ever. I've owned this for a few years now for the ps4. I've now come to ps5 and it doesn't work on here because the lack of optical port. Well, the problems I've had since owning this. The right hand side ear muff always slides and moves on its own because the screw doesn't hold tight enough. I've had crackling sounds through both speakers about 10% of the time when using them. The game volume to chat volume on my mix amp never worked and this is the reason I bought these. So I can't turn it to turn one or the other quite. The mute switch button was like a cheap Chinese plastic which almost broke with in a few weeks,of owning them. All the button does is rattle. I had better sounds of a £30 headset I once had and broke and couldn't replace wirh same so i ended up buying the astro for £250 which was one of my biggest mistakes. Ive regretted ever since owning them. I'll never go back and buy any astro product brand new.

Knowingly selling faulty headsets.. Having been happy with my astro a50 gen 1 i purchased the latest a50' but unfortunately its been horrid experience. When placing the headset in the base station a number of things can happen, but rarely what you would expect, i.e. the charge indicator lighting up and the headset charging. Often what will happen is that the headset light flickers and something goes wrong resulting in the headset thinking it has no charge or over 100% charge. There seems to be no real fix for this and having looked into past reviews its been an issue for several years which is probably the most disappointing thing. Sad to see such a big brand fail to resolve the issue and keep seeling faulty premium products for years..

Will never order from them again… Called customer support spoke to the manger directly. Asked if she could please call FedEx and rerouted my package (per FedEx they can do it but the request would have to be through Astrogaming. Manager said nothing they can do. You can’t even pick up the phone and call for your customer? I was planning buying 2 more for my other kids but with this experience never again.
