About Blizzard Entertainment

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer and publisher founded on February 8, 1991 under the name Silicon & Synapse by three graduates of UCLA, Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham and Frank Pearce. Based in Irvine, California, the company originally concentrated primarily on the creation of game ports for other studios before beginning development of their own software in 1993 with the development of games like Rock N' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings. In 1994 the company became Blizzard Entertainment Inc before being acquired by distributor Davidson & Associates and later by Vivendi. Shortly thereafter, Blizzard shipped their breakthrough hit Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Blizzard went on to create several successful PC games, including the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo series, and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. On July 9, 2008, Activision officially merged with Vivendi Games, culminating in the inclusion of the Blizzard brand name in the title of the resulting holding company, though Blizzard Entertainment remains a separate entity with independent management.[3] Blizzard Entertainment offers events to meet players and to announce games: the BlizzCon in California, United States, and the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in other countries, such as Paris, France and Seoul, South Korea. There is no better example of a greedy publisher destroying good things than Activision Blizzard There is no better example of a greedy and clueless publisher destroying a good reputation and making good products un-playable than Activision Blizzard. In my opinion they are criminal, as I still don't have hundreds of dollars of paid for content on Overwatch 2 migrated from Overwatch 1. I can't even log in to their website because of layers of broken authentication. Their 'support solutions' don't fix any problems, and there is no way of leaving feedback to them, likely because they get nothing but hate, and would rather pretend they have any positive reputation left at all. Nobody should give these people a cent ever again. They have absolutely zero good will towards their long-time loyal fan base. They have no interest in righting their wrongs. They just want an easy buck, no matter the cost to their prior reputation or the well-being of their users.

I just lost my entire battlenet account… I just lost my entire battlenet account because i asked a gm why i was banned 3 times they sent a link to terms and services and 3 times i asked what exactly did i do and asked for an explanation and a name to the gm i was talking to. Then they deleted my entire account the emails disappeared from my inbox and no notification or any explanation. Around 400 euros worth if games.... All i did was asking why i was suspended and the reasoning behind it....

This developer all bad now. Nothing good left A once great developer and publisher of games has fallen to a greedy cash farming corporate mess. The last several purchases I've made with them have been complete disappointments. I'm one case, Diablo 4, several of us tried to get refunds shortly after we learned how unfinished and broken the game was... They refused as you can imagine and were all now stuck with a game we did not enjoy and will never come close to getting our money's worth.

Everyone gets banned eventually Company bans people for the smallest things. It's pretty pathetic to think that you can be banned simply for having a chat with someone that an outside person from the conversation seems offensive. Not sure what they think they are doing but would not recommend their games at all.

Scam-worthy Company Disgusting, scummy company. They have no Live Chat Support, no Phone Number, nothing. Only automated bots on their website. I had a subscription to WoW back in February that I paid for only a month, and then CANCELLED. I was not charged for March, but now suddenly I'm being charged again for April? Their FAQ says that if you haven't used any of your game time, they should be able to refund your payment. But I'm getting my appeals/tickets automatically declined by their automated service in less than a minute, no exaggeration, because I've apparently already previously received a refund in the past for this same thing i.e. "Forgetting to unsubscribe" but that's just.. not the case? I can't find any record of that? And even if I did, how would that even factor into future refunds? There's no actual logic to it. There's no customer service whatsoever. There goes $20 to a worthless, disgusting company. Never again buying any of your products or subscriptions. Rot in hell.
