100% SCAM!!! Buyer beware!!! They were running a promo for 20% off of a travel experience. While you can't pay for experiences directly with points, they did advertise that you can use points to buy a gift card and then use the gift card to pay for the experience. So I purchased the non-refundable gift cards only to find out that they won't apply the promo code of 20% off if you use a gift card to pay. These were not discounted gift cards. I paid full face value for them. The promo would have saved me $140. After spending four hours trying to speak to someone from customer service I just accepted that I'd been scammed and decided I'd have to pay the extra $140, so I did. After completing the $700 purchase, it wouldn't allow me to actually book the experience. The rep I was working with told me it was a website malfunction and that they'd email me later when it was fixed. They actually did email me later... only to tell me that they no longer offer the experience I'd just paid $700 (non-refundable) for. So now I'm out $700 and four hours of my time with nothing to show for it except frustration. Where I come from, if you take $700 from someone and give them nothing in return, it's called theft. How is this different?

Great selection of adventures Great selection of adventures. The site made it quick and easy to check out. Bought this for my son and his friends. If the adventure turns out good, I will buy more from Virgin.

Advertised discount not honored The advertised discount of 20% off wasn’t honored when I paid and the normal price was charged. I contacted Virgin Experience Gifts and they promptly apologised and said a refund will be organised into my credit card. Great service. My friend who I gifted the experience to of going to the Top of the Rock loved it. Thanks Chantelle.
