GBPay Bad Reviews No Mind After a long and unrewarding bridal search in Baltimore I ended up at Alfred Angelo by chance. I saw the store while driving and stopped in figuring I had nothing to loose. I was serviced promptly despite not having an appointment. The first two dresses I tried on were a miss but the last one was absolutely gorgeous. The customer service was excellent not pushy at all. I also recieved a 15% discount on my dress. It arrived on time as promised and I couldn't be happier. You will not be dissappointed by the selection. I'm sorry to hear about the bad experiences of others but if you want good services, affordable prices and a beautiful product head to Alfred Angelo!

GBHorrible business policies when it's their fault Had a pleasant experience in the store but everything went downhill from there. Basically, when I was measured, they told me I was a smaller size than I expected, and I made them size me up just in case. Always easier to take a dress in than to add to it. They told me their dresses run big, and it was definitely going to be big on me, so I was very comfortable with that decision. Well, I got my dress 3 months later, and it was way too tight in the rib cage area. The bust and waist are fine, maybe even a little loose. My measurements are the same as before, but I can barely zip it up. I can't breathe comfortably or move around in it. Another girl in our bridal party had the exact same issue, along with other manufacturing defects with the dress. When I called the store, they said they could do nothing for me since there are no exchanges or refunds allowed. So if they happen to measure you and order you the wrong size or make the dress wrong, they can do nothing for you. Sounds like a terrible business plan. I can easily (and will in the future) go to many other stores where they will actually correct their mistakes. So to sum it up: 1. Size people correctly. When in doubt, go up in size, not down. 2. If you do make a mistake in your sizing or dress-making, own up to it and correct it. I did nothing wrong. I went into the store, got measured, placed the order, paid, and patiently waited. I'm now stuck with a dress that is too small and a store that is not willing to work with me. You can't try on your exact size in the store because they don't carry all sizes. You rely on them to size you correctly for their dresses. They know their own dresses best. (Or so you would think.) You have to pre-pay for the dress ahead of time, which was about $200 for us. You then have to wait 3 months for them to make the dress. And if the dress happens to be too small, which makes it very difficult/impossible to alter, they can do nothing for you to correct their mistake. REALLY?!?! They don't have anything in inventory either, so it will take a long time if you do want to order another dress and spend more money with them. Oh, and they did say I could make an appointment for alterations, but I know they just want my money. And they charge way more for alterations than other places. My friend was quoted more than 3 times what another place cost. We have plenty of other friends who will be getting married in the future. I will tell them to definitely NOT go to Alfred Angelo's Bridal since our bridal party has had so many issues already, not just mine. David's Bridal is WAY better with their policies and their customer service.

GBterrible customer service One of my bridesmaids was measured incorrectly. They tried to fix their mistake by offering her a different dress, but my reason for buying matching dresses was so all the bridesmaids would match. My wedding is in 5 weeks and they may not be able to get me the dress we ordered in the size we need by my wedding!

GBAwesome Staff My wedding is in January 2014. I'm highly intimidated with planning big events, so I'm trying to take things one step at a time. My three sisters are my brides maids, and we all decided to go hunting for the maid dresses. The first place we decided to check out was Alfred Angelo over by Wilow Brook Mall in Houston, TX. We were able to get a consultation without a wait, and we had an amazing consultant named Michelle. She pulled several dresses with several different cuts and styles to fit my diverse brides maids. She was patient, kept up conversation with me while my sisters were getting dressed so i wasn't sitting there alone and bored, and was very helpful in suggesting different types of dresses. she made all of us feel beautiful and appreciated. she laughed and had a good time with us. After we had our favorite dresses picked out she let all of us try on a veil and pose together for a picture. The dresses everyone liked best were a bit pricey, but for the experience, we just might be willing to pay the difference. I went back a week later to try on wedding gowns with my mother. Even though we didn't' have an appointment, Michelle made us a priority. She showed the same interest and devotion to helping me find the perfect dress according to my body type and my specific tastes. My mother was in a sour mood that day, but Michelle wouldn't let that get me down. she made me feel pretty in every dress, just as if i was her own daughter getting fitted for the most important day of her life. all in all, an amazing experience.

GBBUYER BEWARE GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Went to store in Beverly Hills. They seemed nice, told you whatever you want to hear to make sale, but once the money is out of your hands-story changed. Beware of alteration costs. Told me at time of purchase around $300-denied this afterwards. How does $400 for a hem and bustle sound - not including other alterations?! Be prepared to pay an extra $60 to expedite getting material/lace otherwise you won't get it on time. Terrible customer service. Sorry I didn't listen to previous reviews.
