Looks for a website for your wedding? Keep searching! We used theknot as a website platform for guests to get info about our wedding and to RSVP. From the guests perspective it is a relatively nice platform. From the couples perspective it’s a shocking interface. Far from easy to navigate, crappy to use on a mobile device and generally not user friendly. Also the accomodation templates page uses some American booking site which makes it super confusing for guests trying to book accom via our website. Would not suggest using it if your outside the US. I mean I wouldn’t recommend the knot in general anyway.

They lure you in with insinuations of all the leads you'll get, how much traffic they get, etc. But it's all lies and false promises, and they'll never outwardly promise anything, they're very careful with their wording, but it is heavily implied that you will get leads. The leads are all fake, people never respond, never book you. They 100% take advantage of small businesses and trap them in contracts. They also ignore requests to cancel autorenew. You have to really harass them to get out of the contract once it's ended.

Just a number and a dollar sign to WeddingPro! The Knot used to be the the best advertising for my business, ever since they merged with WeddingWire, they’ve went from being personable, making us advertisers feel valued, and genuine. To money driven. I’ve never felt more like a number! I gave them enough of a chance thinking it was growing pains but I am DONE! Update: The Knot responded and instead of addressing any of my concerns. They sent a generic response (possibly even a bot??) this furthers proves my concerns. They went from a personal relationship to treating us vendors like another number/ dollar sign.

Want my money back when I cancelled… Want my money back when I cancelled hotel reservation 2 hrs after I made it bc they lied, charged me more than my AAA rate would have been by adding extra charges for protections I didn't need. Had said rooms were set aside at a special price for the wedding. Only willing to give me a voucher to stay at a hotel they agree to and only in the next 120 days which I can't use. Company called THEKNOT.COM Refuse to give me my money back, reservation made and cancelled 2 months b4 the wedding!
