Over priced, not worth it. Over priced since many of the features it touts don't work. The live cam is a joke, the time-lapse (entire reason I chose this over another more affordable brand) NEVER worked. They make you pay for a monthly subscription for nothing it's a cool concept but I'd go with any of the other more affordable brands anytime.

Water sensor failures, poor design 3rd lid. Water sensor is a POS and is not replaceable, requires replacement of entire lid. Usually fails after 13 months once warranty expires. Edit 1/2. They called me today and offered to make it right with either a refurbished lid or a discount on the Gardyn 3.0. The customer service was excellent albeit it a bit reactionary to the review, nevertheless I am satisfied. My advice is not to buy the Gardyn 1.0, several items have been upgraded since that time that will likely fail on you. Go for the new one.

I love my Gardyn I love my Gardyn! I’ve always enjoyed gardening and now I can do it without all of the weeding, worrying about the weather, and chasing off deer and other animals that can wipe out a garden in a matter of minutes. I eat fresh salads almost daily now and it’s a beautiful addition to the decor in my living room. It definitely grabs the attention of everyone who walks through my door.

Gardyn 2.0...it's broken, again... I'm a Gardyn 2.0 owner and I've had 3 pumps fail in my 2 years of ownership--on my second lid replacement and I can confirm this practice of offering customers discounts on new lids post expiration of warranty. I'm going to try installing a small pump and place it on a Meross smart plug/GFI. Maybe it saves my investment / crops while we look for some better executed solutions Update: The alternate approach worked...don't buy the 2.0 version if you can avoid it!

OMG! OMG!! I love this hydroponic system at my finger tips. I did my homework and this was the one to buy, in AZ I can grow 6 Cannabis plants and had to get this one for my single bedroom and 1 loft which looks great in the ambiance. Anyways im growing peppers, cherry tomato's, cantelope, and hope others sprout. Well done and looks professional in a home
