GBWine is oxidized, vinegary I recently bought two bottles of Ridge 1988 Montebello Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wine Cellarage. I opened one to discover the wine tasted like vinegar; it did not taste anything like it was supposed to, and I fear the wine has oxidized. (I recently drank a bottle of the same vintage, purchased from the winery, and it tasted completely different.) Edit: The Wine Cellarage heard of my bad bottle and offered to allow me to return it. They sent me a UPS label and I was able to send it back for a refund. I'm sorry the wine was off, but Wine Cellarage had great customer service.

GBOrdered 2013 Carpe Diem and they sent … Ordered 2013 Carpe Diem and they sent 2014. Also charged $36 per bottle for the 2014 when others are selling it for $26. Felt taken advantage of. Would not use them again.

GBForce Majeure? Really? I ordered a case to be shipped to California. It got damaged in transit and was never delivered. Wine Cellarage wouldn't process the refund until they were made good by UPS. They sent me their legal language, citing force majeur and said I'd get my refund when they had been refunded. This seems like terrible customer service to me. Mastercard refunded me after I started a dispute - whereupon Wine Cellarage miraculously emailed to say they'd refunded me. Funny that. Never heard from them again.

GBDidn't ship product The product I purchased as a wedding gift for my friend was not shipped to her apartment. I saw her months after her wedding and asked her if she received the give because I had not received a thank you yet. She said she had not received it. She called wine cellerage and they shipped her her wine. But, if she had not called, i don't think she ever would have received it. She said this happened with others as well.

GBOpportunistic management I ordered 3 bottles of wine from them and a few weeks after the COVID-19 nightmare began, I have a difficult economic situation so I asked them to cancel the transaction since I’m sure they can sell the wine to somebody else. After one month with no waiting for an answer, Lars sent me an email offering $110 per bottle when I paid $155, so my interpretation was him giving me a discount so I accept the wine. No I was wrong, the guy want to profit twice out of this unprecedented moment in history. I’m filling a credit card claim right now and possibly a BBB Complaint. Disgusting people, be aware and stay away from them.
