GBAvoid the Aperitif, enjoy the Rum Enjoyed the Ritual Zero Proof Rum, Whisky and Gin alternatives -- but the Aperitif Alternative tasted slightly worse than the cherry cough syrup I remember from my youth. The same chemically bitter taste attempting to hide behind a sickly sweet fluid. Afraid this one really doesn't work. The rum is best, the gin good in G&Ts, the whisky tasty as long as you don't think of it as whisky. Avoid the Aperitif!!!!

GBDelicious! Especially if You are a Fan of Botanical Forward Gins Delicious! Makes it very easy to trade alcohol calories for excellent flavor. I enjoy it with a splash of a good lite tonic. It's a great way to end the evening. If you like gins with a strong botanical profile then you'll enjoy the flavors in this heady, aromatic substitute.

GBWe had hoped that the whiskey… We had hoped that the whiskey alternative we bought would taste a little bit like whiskey based on the explanation of research that was written about the process of developing it. Unfortunately we didn't like it at all and threw it out. It was too spicy and burned the back of our throats. Even after using it to make several drinks instead of drinking it straight it was terrible. The idea was good and we really wish we could have liked something about it but it really tasted bad.

GBThe whiskey alternative is horrendous… The whiskey alternative is horrendous and more so a Scotch alternative than a bourbon alternative. Super smokey on the noise, SWEET, and horrendously spicy for no apparent reason other than to emulate the alcohol burn. The tequila is a slightly better representation but also way too peppery on the finish. I asked my husband if he added jalepeno to my margarita. It's THAT spicy. I'm dreading the gin because gin is my favorite spirit. I just don't think I can stomach it if it's anything like the whiskey.

GBShipped fast, works in Coke Shipped fast, zero proof whiskey works well in coke, haven't tried many other mixed drinks yet but was impressed by the simulated Jack and Coke. Doesn't taste much like whiskey on its own, no burn or bite though they seem to have a somewhat spicey finish, maybe from the peppercorn? It's a bit delayed though, drinking it straight or near straight will spoil the illusion. Overall I recommend it, there's not much out there like it.
