Working in partnership with world renowned Master Chocolatier Barry Colenso we're committed to bring you the stories and personalities behind the world's finest Chocolates. Along the way we're keen to intertwine your comments, wishes and requests - you shape the future of Cocoa Boutique.

Rip off Ordered these chocolates through wowcher. They were a gift and thought what a fab price. Had to order directly from site instead of through wowcher. Chocs arrived but unfortunately were not to my taste - however, everyone has different tastes. Was quite happy to leave it at that. However, today when I logged into my bank it had been debited by £19.99 from Cocoa Boutique. When I phoned to query this I was told I had signed up for a monthly delivery (which is totally untrue). I am currently awaiting a manager phoning me back as they refuse to refund my money and refuse to take back the chocolates (which I still haven't received!). Totally disgusted and would strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

Much prefer Hotel Chocolat I thought I would try this as an alternative but found the chocolates far too sweet and no real flavour of chocolate, more like a Thornton's or Cadbury's selection. I realise that many people prefer this type of chocolate but I prefer chocolates made with high cocoa content from good cocoa beans. The fillings I found insipid and lacking in flavour. I do not like the taste of Sorbitel as a sweetner and really has no place in chocolate. These chocolates from Cocoa Boutique are just not for me.

they send more chocolates you don't want and won't refund the charge I ordered a trial of this company's chocolates with an offer from the Gourmet Society. It clearly stated they wouldn't send more until I provided feedback. I didn't provide feedback yet today another box of chocolates arrived in the post. I called to advise I didn't want them and was basically told "tough". They now say I needed to advise them I didn't want them but this was not the information I received as it was a flyer that came with my Gourmet Society membership. Not happy that they swindle people this way - its not a good way to achieve ongoing business. I will find a different company to purchase chocolate from in future.

really good chocolate but too expensive! As I said in my tasting review I have been a member of another chocolate tasting club for many years (about 10). In your favour: the quality is really good and a nice variety of different kind of chocolates and textures. Some of your chocolate is quite 'simple', which is not a problem, but the price relationship is just wrong. Hotel Chocolat gives you about 100 gr more in their box and charges less than you! I love that you use local chocolatiers, but they should therefore be if anything more reasonable as chocolate made and shipped from the continent.

Scam artists Beware, the website says when you order a box you can 'decide' whether to join their tasting club. What they don't say is that they decide for you, you won't know until they send you another box and charge you £20 for the privilege which they refuse to refund. Absolute scam artists, won't be using them again.
