About Cocoaboutique

Based in Nottingham, Cocoa Boutique was founded by Amy Kershaw in 2012. Firmly believing that one Chocolatier can’t be ‘the best’ at everything we scoured the world for the greatest Award Winning Master and Artisan Chocolatiers, gave them a call and asked if they wanted to bring their finest creations to our lovely customers in unique, handpicked fresh selections. Working in partnership with world renowned Master Chocolatier Barry Colenso we're committed to bring you the stories and personalities behind the world's finest Chocolates. Along the way we're keen to intertwine your comments, wishes and requests - you shape the future of Cocoa Boutique.

What's not to like? What's not to like about Cocoa Boutique? Well I haven't found anything yet. A monthly box of high quality chocolates at a good price. A good mix of tastes, flavours and textures in each box that will tickle, tantalise, soothe and surprise your taste buds. You won't like all of them - but that's the idea - trying out new flavours. I have certainly found a few taste combinations that I would never have even thought about before. Your eyes will also get a treat feasting on these beautifully crafted chocolates. Oh - actually I do dislike one thing. As there are two of each chocolate in every box I have to share with my partner or else he sulks!

Good but with room for improvement Whilst the flavours I have tried in three different boxes are nice, on the whole they are quite mundane and have been done in countless boxes of high street chocolates. For true chocolate aficionados there is certainly a lack of dark chocolate as well. The customer service team have been exemplary in my dealings with them and I think it's brilliant how the boxes are made to fit through your letter box. I'll wait to see what the next one or two boxes contain but unless there are more adventurous flavour combinations I will stop my membership as it would not be worth the cost in my case.

POOR I ordered chocolates via the Gourmet Society offer and have to say I am thoroughly disappointed. I wanted the chocolates for a gift for friends that I am not seeing until the middle of July; the chocolates arrived last week with a best before date of the end of June - no use to me whatsoever. Have contacted them to inform them but have had no helpful response. Having read all reviews wish I had seen them before I ordered. Just hope they take my e-mail as instruction not to send any more chocolates as will not be happy.

A chocaholic's dream! I really look forward to receiving my tester box each month. These are master craftsmen with the most wonderful imagination in putting their flavours together and creating absolute works of art. I'm not, generally, a fan of praline, but even they are the most delicious that I have ever tasted. Cocoaboutique is, indeed, the leader of the pack and, with this standard of taste and presentation, is likely to remain so.

Good company to deal with but didn't deliver on quality I was excited to try a new collection of chocolates from a new company, but delivery was slow, as they make each box to order. I ordered when I saw their guarantee, and thought that they must be pretty good to make such a claim, but I don't think that they followed through. The chocolates, whilst ok, didn't live up to my expectations after what I read about the company, and I have most definitely tasted better!
