GBFantastic service and friendly staff! I ordered a brand new MaraX. It shipped quickly, but arrived with technical issues due to UPS handling. I emailed 1st-Line's tech support and received an immediate response with helpful steps to repair the problem myself. I was even called by Jim himself to make sure the steps helped and the machine was running properly!

GB1st-line is a fantastic company 1st-line is a fantastic company. I've bought several prosumer espresso machines and grinders from them and they've always been great. I've had a few problems with the espresso machines and Java Jim helped me solve the problems quickly. It's so nice to deal with a company where people are experts in their field. 1st-line is the only place I will buy espresso equipment. 10/10.

GB1st Line Equipment experience What attracted me to 1st Line over other specialty espresso stores was their frequency of clearance/refurb/demo machine sales. I was able to buy a demo version of machine that saved me quite a bit. They also publish knowledgeable reviews of their merchandise and general tips/tricks to keep your machine functioning properly. I have not had to personally deal with their customer service. However, I did observe that they are fairly communicative on the Q&A sections of their product pages.

GBWell Above The Bar Better than the rest, by a long margin. Feel free to shop around, and then buy from Jim. He is genuinely interested in making sure customers enjoy their purchase; not because of the money he makes, but because he's passionate about coffee and espresso. We tested this theory a few times and Jim's competitors were clearly more focused on profit and less on customer satisfaction--especially after the sale.
