Wild Idea Buffalo has the best tasting buffalo. I have ordered from other online retailers and can purchase local buffalo in the many stores around The Dallas, Texas area and Wild Idea Buffalo is by far the best tasting. I have ordered more than once and it is always frozen solid when it arrives even here where our temperatures are in the 90's-100 often. We share with our daughter's family and they enjoy it also. A sister also orders from them and has had excellent results. If quality meat is important to your family I would not hesitate to order from Wild Idea Buffalo Company.

excellent I was worried about the condition of the meat , because I place an order in a hot summer temperature , but when package arrived everything was perfectly frozen . Quality of the meat was excellent , and company even place info and the coking tips . I have used a few other companies in the past , and so far I like Wild Idea the best

Wonderful! After reading Buffalo for a Broken Heart, I wanted to try Bison as a healthy food item as part of our Whole 30 whole foods diet. So far we have tried a New York Strip steak and the premium ground, and both were delicious - mildly sweet and fresh tasting. Our order arrived in perfect condition, nicely packaged for shipping. The website is inviting and customer focused; ordering is easy. It is obvious the company is well run. The product is outstanding, and I like knowing that this food choice is good not only for our dining pleasure, but also for our health and the ecology of the Great Plains.

Let me be VERY clear Let me be VERY clear. We have LOVED [most] everything we have received from Wild Idea and fully intend to continue to order. However, I removed a star due to the fact that Wild Idea unfortunately still uses pork casings for their brats and beef casings for their jerky sticks. The entire reason for us researching and deciding to purchase from Wild Idea is to to avoid supporting inhumane and unsustainable farming practices. When I contacted Wild Idea they were VERY prompt and responsive. They assured me that all of the casings they use are organic. Unfortunately, organic does not necessarily assure humane or sustainable farming practices. I find this contradictory. We will continue to order and support, just not the brats or jerky sticks.

Great Experience This is my first order and I am very pleased. Ordering was easy, prices are in line with what I would pay locally for bison that is grass fed but grain finished, shipping was fast, packaging was fantastic. And, most importantly, everything we've tried so far has been great! My husband is already looking forward to trying other products. I also contacted a customer service rep. with a question and she was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous - a rare find nowadays!
