I was about 1 second from clicking "Submit" on 3 months of their service for my wife when my wife walked by and said "Make sure they accommodate people with food allergies". I did not verify that, assuming it would be insane to send people food that could kill a large number of them (my wife has a deadly allergy to nuts. It came close to killing her several times - last time she had to be treated at an emergency room). This is why major restaurants keep nuts out of their food and why airlines no longer serve nuts to their passengers. It is such common knowledge that every responsible provider of food is aware of this, and they refrain from offering nuts with their meals. I assumed that Nutrisystem would be the same because I assumed they were a responsible company. Then, to my surprise I did a little digging and found that Nutrisystem DOES NOT abide by this generally accepted practice. Nuts may be all over their food. They apparently don't mind how many people they kill. Further, there was no warning - or even a mention on their website about food allergies. The site leads you right into signing up for their service without even a mention of food allergies. Fortunately, I held back and did not press that 'Submit' button. I saved myself $1200 by doing that - and far more important, I might have also saved my wife's life.

Did not receive notice of 2nd shipment… Did not receive notice of 2nd shipment and when I called was told I would be charged $520.00 for the food plus $425.00 cancellation fee, when asked to speak with mgr was not transferred. Food has too many carbs for me and did not help me lose any weight. Unable to opt out of emails I am now receiving from them.

Just another diet where you may or may… Just another diet where you may or may not lose like Jenny Craig and Optavia and they are all expensive. Eating healthy is also expensive, but not as much. You need raw fresh vegetables, fruits low in sugar, protien with mostly eggs, fish, chicken, and cut the sugar intake daily by eating pistachios instead of chips, power bars instead of chocolate. You can get these great 70 calorie brownies at Walmart with great fiber. I have lost over 80 lbs on my own and kept it off because I do not diet. I did a lifestyle change.

Do Not Sign Up for 3 months The system "works" and if you follow it faithfully you might succeed. A member of my family did. However, do NOT pay for anything using their "up front three month save some money' pitch . After plunking down a thousand for three months, my family member developed allergic reaction to some ingredient and her doctor ordered her to cease. We assumed liability for what was sent and consumed. What you do not tell you is you won't get anything else refunded even if you have not received it. After countless phone calls and emails, they refunded just $400. "That's our policy" was the response. My advice is look to other high protein/low carb systems. Most importantly never send these folks money in advance. You will never see it again.

I called to see what could be done and spoke with Katlyn, who explained that “it happens and if I don’t check the inventory I’m SOL.” Did you just tell me I’m SOL? She did agree to send replacements but not before getting her two cents in 3 or 4 times. Not very impressive or professional but good help is nearly impossible to find these days.
