Zero customer service I placed an order 09Dec22.I received part of the order 15Dec22. The packing slip said it was complete. I was missing 6 items, and customer service is horrible. Spoke to virtual chat, said my order was complete, then said it was shipped in 2 parts. I should have received the second one yesterday, No order, FedEx says it is delayed. Do not try to call the phone number, 35 calls, no one answers.

Absolutely zero communication from SMI… Absolutely zero communication from SMI concerning shipping info. I explicitly warned them off using FedEx and strongly encouraged USPS for my order, since I live in a very remote area. They ignored my preference and I only found my purchase three days after they asked me for an opinion on their performance. It was found over a tenth of a mile on the side of a logging road in the Klamath National Forest. It was heat damaged after being suspect to three days of above 90 degree temperatures. SMI promised to make good on their defective product, but they never followed up and have not returned emails, phone calls &tc. Absolutely unprofessional and not worthy of one's trust. Can I possibly give a zero star review? That's what is deserved for my experience.

Fantastic and responsive company during pandemic times! Supermarket Italy fulfilled my entire order with incredible speed during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their prices were great, plus they gave me free shipping for ordering more than $50 of merchandise. They packed everything very securely. I'll definitely do business with them again, and frankly found them to be a great company to deal with. Grazie mille!

Expired Organic Food Items I ordered several items from them including organic lemon juice. When I finally received the order, the lemon juice had expired on 8/31/2021 — last year! When I alerted cust svc by email they didn’t respond but refunded my money. What reputable business sells expired organic merchandise? I didn’t even receive an apology. They probably thought I wouldn’t notice. I will never order from them again.

If there was a way to give a -0 star… If there was a way to give a -0 star Review, I most definitely would! I have Celiac Disease. I ordered a GF item to prepare for Christmas dinner, I also ordered an item that is readily available near me (sun dried tomatoes). But I figured for the expensive shipping price, why not kill two birds with one stone. VERY close to Christmas, I received an email saying, the pasta item is out of stock, (of course, they had charged my bank account already!), but the sun dried tomatoes are enroute! That, of course, was a lie, because when they were finally shipped, the shipping date was available to view. I called extensively in plenty of time to cancel the order. No one would answer my calls, or reply to various emails, or requests to chat! So I ended up paying $29.15 for a very small jar of sun dried tomatoes, which I could've purchased for around $3.00-$4.00 in total!! Never again, I truly, truly wish I had read the plethora of bad reviews before I ordered...but in my defense, I was so happy to find an item that I was having such a problem locating! PS, I am STILL waiting on the sun-dried tomatoes, Christmas is over!! IT'S A TOTAL SCAM, PEOPLE!!
