A couple of weeks ago, I ordered turkey dinner for two for Thanksgiving to be delivered the day before Thanksgiving for my sister and her husband who are both ill. Today (two days before Thanksgiving), they sent me an email saying that they didn't receive delivery of the Thanksgiving dinners, so they would have to cancel my order! What can you get two days before Thanksgiving? Nothing. I will never order anything from them again. My sister was so excited about this when I told her and now I have to call and tell her they cancelled. I could cry.

GBLove IGourmet!!! If you are a cheese or fine food seeker this is the place for you! I have been ordering from igourmet for many years and I am extremely pleased. They have a huge selection of cheese you can't find anywhere else and their website is extremely fun to explore. They package their cheese and shrink wrap which is heavy and keeps your cheese wonderfully fresh in your fridge for quite a long time. If you do order be sure to get their excellent zippered bag for a few extra dollars. I have a collection of them and I use them at the grocery store and always get so many compliments. Take advantage of their great sales and unique items and you will not be disappointed!! You can also choose your items and have them shipped at a later date which is wonderful when planning for holidays or parties. Thank You from a very pleased customer!!!

CADismal Dismal. Ordered a ham. Paid for overnight delivery to address in Florida. A week later and our ham was on the other side of the USA (Indianapolis). They offered us a refund on the overnight delivery fee. We declined. Under duress they provided the full refund we demanded.

GBHorrible customer service from Igourmet Have bought hundreds of dollars worth of food from Igourmet. So disappointed. Ordered some cheese for a pre-christmas party and it never shipped until two days after the chosen delivery date. How do you run a business where you ask a customer when they want their product and don't deliver. One time previously we bought food to be shipped overnight and it showed up two and a half days later. we were told it was fine. It was room temperature. If you can't meet the delivery date at least notify the customer that their order is running late. Also, paying extra for express shipping for perishable items delivered late is BS. If Fed Ex can't deliver on time use Ups.

GBWish I'd read these reviews before ordering! So, based solely on my experience with igourmet, I really had begun to suspect it is a scam. I ordered an expensive gift box days before their deadline for Christmas delivery. I was promised delivery between Dec 18-22nd and I was to receive an email when it shipped. When I hadn't received an email by the 19th, I called to confirm everything was still on schedule. I was assured it would be delivered by the 22nd. Customer Service rep said they would track package personally and send me an email before they left work with a status update. Never happened. When I still hadn't received the shipping email on the 22nd, I called again. I was told that it had been processed and was on the dock to be loaded into the FedEx truck that night and would be delivered on the 23rd. She said she upgraded my order to priority overnight shipping and it would for sure get there before Christmas. Customer Service rep said they would track package personally and send me an email before they left work with a status update. Never happened. Of course, I did not receive the shipping email either and they are closed on the weekend. So the gift never even shipped! Christmas was Monday and my friends had no gift, and I had no explanation except that igourmet had totally dropped the ball and was probably a scam. So I called (yet again!) Tuesday morning. Really nice but ineffectual customer service said they would ship it Tuesday for Wednesday delivery, for sure. Still did not ship. What is wrong with this company that they absolutely do not communicate back to the customer when there is an issue or a question or a problem? I guessed they were just stringing me along to see how long they could keep my money. Just as I called 1st thing Wednesday morning to cancel the whole thing, I received an email that it had shipped. Wrong! It actually did not go to Fedex until 4pm that afternoon. It FINALLY arrived Thursday after Christmas. Lest anyone is confused, this was NOT a "there were too many packages for Fedex to deliver" issue. This was an "Igourmet cannot get it out the door when promised" issue. Igourmet completely lost any repeat business from me, my companies and my friends and family. I will never ever trust igourmet again. I absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND ordering from this company. Doesn't matter if the product is good or not because they cannot be trusted to get it delivered when they say they will.
