GBUntruthful ads In Giant Eagle (I prefer to call it Giant Vulture), you get these ads saying, for example 'Buy 4 for $5 - before was $1.79 each'. What they do NOT tell you is that now, if you buy one, it's down to $1.25! So they make you think you must buy 4, but no, only one is enough. So they trick you into thinking you must buy a lot to get a discount, but that's not true

GBThis is now my favorite store since… This is now my favorite store since they changed their name to Market Place. Their attempt to become an upscale store is paying off for the customer because they are now offering a wide array of different foods and fresh cuts of meat, and it doesn't hurt that you can still save dollars at the gas pump. They are still more pricer than their competition but, the savings at the pump is a plus.

GBI don't like the fact that you no… I don't like the fact that you no longer mail sales papers and the fact that you no longer supply plastic bags I believe it's more of cost and profit issue than saving the environment.

GBHorrible produce. Giant Eagle can be a great place to shop, if you don't mind paying higher prices. However, not all are equal. The one in Garfield Hts, Ohio is absolutely horrible when it comes to produce. I have tried to overlook my experiences many times, but after buying a bag of apples, in which half were spoiled, I'm done. Quality control seems to be nonexistent and while I understand staffing issues, maybe it's time to close if you can't maintain a standard.
