Giant Eagle Scales Off Well, everyone I wasn't far off! Giant Eagle is now cited for their scales being off calibrated and over charging their customers. This should warrant a full audit of all stores and Giant Eagle brand affiliates.

I worked at Giant Eagle in Indiana PA… I worked at Giant Eagle in Indiana PA for about a year. My first issue with Giant Eagle is the cleanliness. There is still black mold in all of the drink coolers by the registers, and this was discovered in the summer of 2022. When other employees and I brought the issue to the prior store manager, Jim, we were told “it’s being taken care of”, “it’s not a big deal”, and “clean it yourselves. After the company switched to corporate everything got worse. We got new managers that are rude, disrespectful, and unfair. my hours were cut significantly and i was constantly belittled. The new manager Stephanie made up “new rules” that were just ridiculous. For example, I was a cashier and I always kept my personal belongings on me, and under my register because other staff members were having issues with their stuff being stolen. One day I get to work and out of nowhere Stephanie comes up to me and tells me I can’t have my things on me and they need to go in the “computer room”. Keep in mind, as an employee and not a manager I do not even have access to this room, so why would I put my stuff there? I could keep going. It’s ridiculous.

The Pharmacist & Staff are very professional & friendly. In fact I am going there tomorrow for my flu shot, and my Moderna Booster 💉 ouch 🤕🤞😓 We even have a StarBucks inside our Giant Eagle ☕️ I have been a loyal customer of Giant Eagle , SquirrelHill , Pittsburg , PA , since our UPMC days in the late 1980’s . Our only son was born @ Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburg . Since then Giant Eagle was always there for our midnight grocery & diaper runs , cakes , breakfast muffins and everything in between … 💗 Thank You Giant Eagle for being our Friendly Neighborhood Grocery Store 🏬 Plz don’t forget to sign up for the Giant Eagle Rewards Card . Feeding the opioid epidemic How dare you feed the opioid epidemic....and settling out of court,paying an undisclosed amount of money, all because you know you were GUILTY of abusing your right to fill prescriptions for opioids. Shame on your company....I will never shop there again, your stores always were less than desirable.
