GBI purchased gift cards and they did not… I purchased gift cards and they did not work. Received the activation code but when trying to use them was told no money on them. Now Giant Eagle is giving me every excuse not to refund my money. They continue to tell me different dates when I will hear back from them. I have been trying to get this resolved since May 3rd. Do not purchase gift cards from them. Supervisor Beth was no help at all. Nor were any of the customer service people.

The Pharmacist & Staff are very professional & friendly. In fact I am going there tomorrow for my flu shot, and my Moderna Booster 💉 ouch 🤕🤞😓 We even have a StarBucks inside our Giant Eagle ☕️ I have been a loyal customer of Giant Eagle , SquirrelHill , Pittsburg , PA , since our UPMC days in the late 1980’s . Our only son was born @ Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburg . Since then Giant Eagle was always there for our midnight grocery & diaper runs , cakes , breakfast muffins and everything in between … 💗 Thank You Giant Eagle for being our Friendly Neighborhood Grocery Store 🏬 Plz don’t forget to sign up for the Giant Eagle Rewards Card . GBYou have to bring 2x’s satisfaction policies to Giant Eagles attention. Questionable Policies. !!! According to Giant Eagle, they offer a 2x your money back on Giant Eagle brand products for satisfaction. The problem is that they don’t offer the guarantee. If you don’t bring the policy to their attention….they will never give you 2x’s your money back. They are only getting 3 stars because they have never denied the policy to me but I do have to ask them for it.

GBGiant eagle just gets worse and… Giant eagle just gets worse and worse.they hire the most incompetent workers.my recent visit was another nightmare. The cashier,was unable to understand whst a 4 packof batteries was. I explained it several times he still tried to ring up a 10 pack. Then deleted it and my advantage card number.when inrealized no perks were on my receipt i went back in the store.the cashier tried to tell me i never gave him my advantage card!.i went to the service desk but lo and behold it was closed and the employee was on break.at 9:30 a.m! The store opens at 7 a.m. and inly one cashier was working. The other was buying scratch off lottery tickets.requests to page the manager were made,and i was asked what did I want. No manager bothered to find out what the customer wanted.break was more important. Giant eagle will mot see me as a customer again.

GBFeeding the opioid epidemic How dare you feed the opioid epidemic....and settling out of court,paying an undisclosed amount of money, all because you know you were GUILTY of abusing your right to fill prescriptions for opioids. Shame on your company....I will never shop there again, your stores always were less than desirable.
