Giant Eagle Scales Off Well, everyone I wasn't far off! Giant Eagle is now cited for their scales being off calibrated and over charging their customers. This should warrant a full audit of all stores and Giant Eagle brand affiliates.

Giant eagle just gets worse and… Giant eagle just gets worse and worse.they hire the most incompetent workers.my recent visit was another nightmare. The cashier,was unable to understand whst a 4 packof batteries was. I explained it several times he still tried to ring up a 10 pack. Then deleted it and my advantage card number.when inrealized no perks were on my receipt i went back in the store.the cashier tried to tell me i never gave him my advantage card!.i went to the service desk but lo and behold it was closed and the employee was on break.at 9:30 a.m! The store opens at 7 a.m. and inly one cashier was working. The other was buying scratch off lottery tickets.requests to page the manager were made,and i was asked what did I want. No manager bothered to find out what the customer wanted.break was more important. Giant eagle will mot see me as a customer again.

I worked at Giant Eagle in Indiana PA… I worked at Giant Eagle in Indiana PA for about a year. My first issue with Giant Eagle is the cleanliness. There is still black mold in all of the drink coolers by the registers, and this was discovered in the summer of 2022. When other employees and I brought the issue to the prior store manager, Jim, we were told “it’s being taken care of”, “it’s not a big deal”, and “clean it yourselves. After the company switched to corporate everything got worse. We got new managers that are rude, disrespectful, and unfair. my hours were cut significantly and i was constantly belittled. The new manager Stephanie made up “new rules” that were just ridiculous. For example, I was a cashier and I always kept my personal belongings on me, and under my register because other staff members were having issues with their stuff being stolen. One day I get to work and out of nowhere Stephanie comes up to me and tells me I can’t have my things on me and they need to go in the “computer room”. Keep in mind, as an employee and not a manager I do not even have access to this room, so why would I put my stuff there? I could keep going. It’s ridiculous.

Great service on Curbside Pickup in… Great service on Curbside Pickup in Erie! They shop my online order, I schedule a pickup, and they load it up. Procedure is simple and painless and the staff is ALWAYS pleasant. Once I couldn't get there during my delivery time due to a road closure and they worked with me to schedule a later pickup time. I would highly recommend shopping here.

I purchased gift cards and they did not… I purchased gift cards and they did not work. Received the activation code but when trying to use them was told no money on them. Now Giant Eagle is giving me every excuse not to refund my money. They continue to tell me different dates when I will hear back from them. I have been trying to get this resolved since May 3rd. Do not purchase gift cards from them. Supervisor Beth was no help at all. Nor were any of the customer service people.
