False advertising. Crooks! False advertising says they deliver within 90 minutes locally in New Jersey but order came from Connecticut. Tried to cancel order placed in Dec 22nd. They do not answer phones, emails, or their fake chat. The reviews on their website are all fake! This company is awful! Order received very late. Paid 11.99 for gourmet cheese as an addition but none was sent. Bananas all brown and soft! Yuck! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY!

Substituted items, late delivery and poor customer service I ordered a 'gourmet' champagne and chocolate gift basket for my friend's 50th birthday in Canada. Despite ordering it 4 weeks in advance and requesting delivery on her birthday, it arrived 3 days late. I was told by Hazeltons it was my responsibility to chase the courier (difficult with an 8 hour time difference). On arrival, every single item had been substituted and there was nothing gourmet about it. Hazeltons explained they substitute items to avoid delays - clearly that didn't happen in my case. Hazeltons sent a poor quality item, 3 days late, and demonstrated no customer service. I'm doubly frustrated as I've used this company for the last 3-4 years without issue. Never again.

Wish I had read these reviews BEFORE… Wish I had read these reviews BEFORE ordering. My delivery date is later than I'd hoped so I tried to get them to expedite, re-route or cancel/refund my order. The customer service was absolutely not helpful, just told me there was nothing they could do. They told me to call the shipper, then THEY told me there was nothing they could do. Horrible experience - will NEVER purchase from these half-assed, non-customer-caring company EVER AGAIN.

Awful! Awful! Basket arrived a day late despite promising same day delivery in a box festooned with Styrofoam peanuts that filled a 13 gallon tall wastebag. Pretzels were not fresh, balloon did not arrive, fresh fruit was substituted with gross (and cheap!) milk chocolate item. Customer service demanded photos of product, which was ridiculous bc nothing was broken, they were missing. Back & forth 3 x before they offered to refund cost of balloon. Fruit could not be refunded bc a product was subsituted without my knowledge, input or permission. Go elsewhere!

Absolutely awful Similar experience to others. Deluxe Wine and Cheese package arrived two weeks late (Jan 8 for a 22nd Dec promise) in a ripped open cardboard box. No cheese, no cheeseboard and virtually every mother item was substituted, if not missing altogether. Shipping was supposed to be next business day (at significant extra cost) but was put in a truck and driven across the US taking 6 days. Nothing about this was right. Worst service I have ever used. Company has the nerve to ask for reviews to post in their website and then delete all the bad ones (which must be all of them!)
