I decided to cough up the money to buy… I decided to cough up the money to buy one of the best light therapy boxes on the market because the dark and gloomy winter months in ohio consistently cause me severe depression. My psychiatrist typically adjusts my meds but it's not enough. I dread the winter fearing one year it might claim my life. After having a cheap SAD therapy light years ago that did nothing, I figured that if I was willing to spend money on frivolous purchases, I shouldn't complain about spending money to potentially help me not bottom out in the winter. I'm really impressed with the Northstar 10,000. It truly helps and for me, anything that actually helps me survive this time of year is worth gold.

Great tech support for an older, out-of-warranty product Beth was very knowledgable about the product, didn't try to sell me a new one, gave helpful tech advice, and explained where I could get replacement parts. I ultimately bought a new LED light box to replace my old NorthStar. My experience restored my faith that at least some companies really stand by their products and make an effort to hire and retain stellar employees.

Daily Use gives great coping benefits … Every morning at 6:50 am I turn on the light for 20 minutes. I sleep deeper and now don't wake with total body pain. I am able to get up without dragging resistance. I am less anxious and can focus on my day. When taking vitamin D the light will enhance production through your skin.
