Great Concept - Needs a Few Enhancements Bought this for my MIL as an alternative to the pendant-style fall detection monitors. She loves that it is a watch style. Being visually impaired, the text alerts if she sets off the system do not work for her. She needs a phone call. Monitor does seem super-sensitive. The 15-seconds for her to quell alarm if it thinks she fell is not a long enough window for a visually impaired senior to react. Also, many of her friends were interested in this system but quickly became disinterested when they realized it didn’t also function as a watch.

Customer service has been prompt and helpful. Poor battery life, am allergic to the wrist band causing itchy rash. Comfortable to wear tho. Will reconsider at the end of year subscription as I am concerned at the lack of a microphone in wrist unit.

Not good for someone who is active I have had 6 false alarms all while doing everyday tasks such as brushing teeth, vacuuming, driving. My contact person has issues connecting to the site to cancel the alarms. I usually don’t feel the vibrations so I am not able to cancel it myself. The battery only lasts 3-4 days. It might be good for someone who sits in a chair all day.
