GBA well-engineered, comfortable product -- but one caveat A well-engineered, comfortable product. It didn't take long to learn how to use it easily, without accident. But one caveat: My most recent shipment has design change in the release valve at the bottom of the catchment bag and a different relief valve at the top. The result, at least in my limited experience with the new design, is that it takes longer to empty the bag. I like the old design better; but even with the new model, I'd hate to go back to soggy pads

GBVery bad experience Very bad experience. It has not worked for my husband. This concept of a nurse over the phone is not effective. A chaotic experience. That tape does not hold the catheter tight enough and it keeps slipping off. A waste of money and effort into a product that will not work. Their customer service is ok.

GBAvoid at all costs! The worst decision I ever made was to order this product. When I saw that it involved clamps, I was turned off immediately, and tried to return the product, which was totally undisturbed, and the company refused to do so. But the worst part of all this for me is the literal torrent of daily phone calls from other supposed Medical equipment suppliers (who were obviously given/sold my contact information for their mailing/calling list right after I ordered this product) and are wanting to charge my Medicare. Foreign accents, fake numbers from boiler room fraudsters, and up to eight calls a day, thereby disturbing my peace of mind and quality of life.

GBAlthough I tried these for more than 2… Although I tried these for more than 2 months, spoke to two different nurses, used the correct soap and other applications, I couldn't get one to stay on for more than 5 hours, so I couldn't trust them for anywhere but around the house. Cancelled any future offers. Maybe they work for some people, but not for me and I did everything I was told to do.

GBvalve design needs more work I have used the external catheter for about a year combined with a calf catheter bag. Recently have had to go back to diaper because of design deficiency in the vacuum break valve. It does not provide enough air flow to allow the urine to pass freely down the tube. This results in a suction effect on the tip of the penis leaving it engorged at the end of the day. It also leaves the penis tip constantly exposed to urine. These combined effects produce what I can only describe as diaper rash on the penis around the opening. I don't recall the previous valve design giving this much of a problem. My usage of the device has been greatly diminished as a result.
