GBWe looked at a lot of facilities for … We looked at a lot of facilities for our son. What made us choose Teen Treatment Center was how secure we felt the center was. There's a lot of work to do still, but I think we're on the right path. Treatment isn't cheap (at least it wasn't for us) but it may be depending on insurance.

GBNot much patience on staff part, just expulsion We have had our son in the program and were very much reassured by everyone who called to solicit him into to the program how wonderful it was but then in the space of one day we were given the option of transferring him[48hrs] or picking him up in 24 hours. He did go AWOL which is bad and should be dealt with strongly but everything was over. Even after we were told that such acts don't usually necessarily merit expulsion. A place of this nature should be able to deal with such behavior for a first time offense. We could not even talk to him about what reason he had to do it[I don't think there is a good reason]. The team decided he's out. I really understand some people should be expelled but a warning to the parents of trouble should proceed immediate expulsion. So what does a parent do when they are over a thousand miles away and have 24 hours to get your son? I am very, very disappointed with how they handled this and wouldn't want another parent to go into this without warning what may happen in the space of a couple of hours literally.

GBCelebrating 6 months! My son and I are celebrating 6 months clean this week. We never thought it would be possible. The teen center worked with both of us to improve our relationship and fight his addiction together as a team.

GBParents pay a lot for these programs Parents pay a lot for these programs. Extensions without parental input are illegal. One employee lied about saying the program was closed last year. I agree that intensive programs are essential but oversight is crucial but spot inspections are not allowed and that is illegal. There is a Patients Bill of Rights. This is not allowable.

GBIt was the worst experience of my life… It was the worst experience of my life we barely got any food and when we did it was poor quality they made sure that my life was hell but lied to my parents saying that I need to stay there longer there were a lot of mentor's that would have a bad day and then take it out on me I would not recommend sending your kid there
