I didn't have a good experience with… I didn't have a good experience with Sondermind as one of their therapists. I don't recommend them to other therapists. I am a freedom lover and felt some micromanagment. Also their reimbursement rates were way too low.

I was only rec’d male providers even… I was only rec’d male providers even though I was looking for a female provider. Want to be able to delete the providers you rec’d initially off of my profile and one of them wasn’t responsive to my message. Still don’t know how much it will cost even though I signed up about a month ago and have had 3 sessions. I know it only takes a few minutes to get insurance verified and cost per session identified. Rebecca is great but I found her myself.

This is a Mickey Mouse operation This is a Mickey Mouse operation. Their "therapists" are contractors and have no accountability. They can no show you, cancel last minute and Sondermind wont do anything because they are contractors. I was no showed twice and when I called the customer service just gave me robotic lip service and suggested another person. I did that and the guy canceled. Lol. Do yourself a favor and find a real therapist

Flawless Video Chat Counseling I was paired originally with 3 counselors after indicating my specific needs. I could immediately tell those 3 were not for me. I indicated that on the website. I was sent 3 more without having to give a reason or anything. I selected my current counselor. The ability to have a session over video chat from where I physically am located has been exactly what i needed. I have made huge strides in my mental health in just a few months. The video chat and messaging on the app is flawless. I recommend Sondermind to anyone seeking counseling.

Great therapist, awful everything else The therapist who they connected me to was great, but everything else about this company is awful. Please save yourself the hassle of wasting time with their customer support and billing system. You will not be billed on time and will receive them all in one lump sum months after your actual session. God help you if you want to actually talk with a representative because the wait times are egregious. Avoid if at all possible.
