Ableism and Disrespect Lavender Psychiatry should really do some pre-screening. They booked me for an appointment, I filled out a very long intake form full of personal information (including financial) and was told they couldn't work with me because I had a concussion 11 years ago. They also will not work with anyone who even might be autistic. There's some weird ableism there and also no respect for client time, energy, and the difficulty of disclosure.

Contacting them/setting up appointment… Contacting them/setting up appointment was super easy. The "concierge" service is nice and the person I emailed and spoke to on the phone is nice. They were very informative and answered my questions. I am looking forward to my appointment after this initial interaction!

I had an awful experience I had an awful experience. They cancelled my initial appointment with little notice or explanation. They were incredibly pushy about having me fill out the intake form a full 12 days before the appointment. Sometimes people are busy! The customer service rep said I hung up on her, which is why the appointment was cancelled a second time. I didn’t hang up on anyone! When I did fill out the intake form (which is lengthy and requires I provide payment info too) they denied to see me without explanation as to why. Everytime I’ve called the customer service line it was busy. Still haven’t heard back. Total waste of time for an exercise that is already difficult to go through.

Denied care for something silly I was denied care for the sole reason that I’ve been prescribed suboxone. It’s pretty apparent that I’m still paying for mistakes I made years ago. I wasn’t expecting to be prescribed suboxone through lavender, I just wanted help with my other issues. Complete waste of time really.

Amazing service Honestly, the service is amazing. Currently in the middle of switching insurances, so not sure if they cover. If anyone is looking for very high quality mental health care from the comfort of home, this is the place to go.
