Fraudulent billing I have been treating with a psychiatrist on Talkiatry for about 4 months. Out of the blue my most recent bill was $100 more. Discovered they added an additional charge for “ individual counseling”. The appt was 15 min. There was absolutely no counseling, no discussion of family, work or life stressors, no coping skill discussion, no sleep hygiene tips. I have been a licensed therapist for the last 30 years and understand what this add on charge means and there was nothing additional provided at this session. I reached out to the company to challenge the charge and was met with resistance. Sadly, I ended my relationship with the company due to the fraudulent billing practices. Be warned, this will likely occur if you continue with this provider and the fight to fix it will be fruitless.

Talkiatry is over billing everyone and… Talkiatry is over billing everyone and assuming that no one will look at their bills. Talked to someone from talkiatry as an intro, the psychiatrist listened to me and took down my history and it was an intake call. Talkiatry charged me for that session (which is very expensive by the way - 1.5x more than what I pay for Alma...please do check out Alma, they are amazing), but also charged me $96 for a follow up visit, when i never scheduled a second session. They later tried to pass this up as the doctor talked to me about medication and behavioral therapy that would help me, but the doctor never did that. They are falsefully trying to inflate the bill. This is absolutely wrong. No one should be paying extra charges because Talkiatry falsefully is adding fraudulent charges and phantom charges on the bill. Would give them less that 1 if available

I have been using talkiatry for 6… I have been using talkiatry for 6 months, it was going well at first, affordable, meds worked. Then my psychologist left to go back to in person therapy. The new therapist is outside of my network. Meaning my insurance does not cover it. You'd think it'd be their job to assign you someone within your network but I guess they're too incompetent. They've given me a $500 bill I cannot afford and more suicidal thoughts and tendencies before. So thanks for the crappy service talkiatry.

Can’t get anyone to schedule an appointment I was given an appointment but then they cancelled without rescheduling me. Then they rescheduled me with someone else after I called but cancelled the appointment again due to Dr. not licensed in my area although they had my address on file. I sent an email trying to see who I can talk to but no response .

Crazy bill For my initial session, I was billed over $400. It's insane. I used to have a Psychiatrist with Talkspace. She's great. I paid about $200 for my initial session. She was very thorough. Unfortunately, I moved and she can't provide service in my state. I also have a therapist that I've been working with for years. I tried Talkiatry for medication management. I knew that I just needed to explain what's happening. I told him about my previous Dr, what I'm taking, the usual. It was no way a therapy. And then I get the bill. They just added on to my stress.
