Thriveworks is the worst ever Thriveworks is the worst ever. They lied about billing between co-pays and deductibles, billed over a month after the fact despite being told zero bill. Got zero help for my son. We were told there was a scheduling issue and never got a call back or a new therapist. Nobody is running this company. It's just a cash cow and my son is sitting here depressed while I look for help elsewhere because thriveworks let my family down.

SERVICE SUSPENED for AUTISTIC ADULT I am an AUTISTIC ADULT and Thriveworks CUT MY SERVICE with SHORT AND VAGUE WARNING! When the Thriveworks third party calls from another country, they talk fast and sternly, only acting like a corporation caring about the money only. They apparently FORGOT or DON'T CARE that they are helping/healing severely depressed and anxious individuals with a multitude of mental health diagnoses and traumas. As an Autistic person with PTSD, MDD, and GAD, I didn't appreciate or feel comfortable with their INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE-style customer service. Way to go Thriveworks! This is a solid way to lose patients AND therapists. Luckily, there is a local 24/7 Suicide Support group in my area that I can contact while waiting to receive my disability retirement payment and begin a re-payment plan at the end of this month. Hopefully, I can resume my weekly CBT therapy sessions sooner rather than later. I have an amazing and highly-skilled therapist who is the main reason I am choosing to stay with Thriveworks. I go wherever my therapist goes.

I'm giving them 2 stars because the… I'm giving them 2 stars because the therapist is good but the company is terrible. But now, the therapist has stopped my appointments over billing issues. There is no one to contact about these issues except some customer service foreigners who don't know diddly and do squat. The insurance company got it wrong too so they're not alone and I'm the one in the middle and losing out. Do not reply to me with a copy and paste rote answer.

Dawn Seeburger was wasted time and money I reached out to Thriveworks to get assistance for a teen to help manage anxiety. We met with Dawn Seeburger and agreed that they would have a session every other week in the evening (agreed to 7 but changed to 6:45 and that was fine). The teen had a meet and greet session during the day and one scheduled session in the evening. The very next two were canceled by Dawn. The first cancellation was followed by an offer to reschedule at 1:30 in the afternoon the next day because she was not feeling well. I explained we are working during the day but we will keep the next scheduled appt. This is a direct quote of the request and response of our texts regarding her cancelling again: Her: Hi, I need to cancel (Name)'s session for tomorrow evening. I can offer 3:30 tomorrow if that works for (name)? Me: We both work during the day and are unable to make an appt that is not later. That's the reason we agreed to the every other (day of the week) evening. This is the second scheduled appt you have cancelled. I understand life happened but you need to offer a reschedule that is in line with our regularly scheduled time, even if you need to change the day of the week. Please advise. Her: I typically don't offer evening appointments and was making an exception with those bi weekly (day of week). And yes, cancelations may arise on either end. I can put in a referral for someone else who may have more consistent evening times. My schedule is set and does not include evenings. Me: Honestly, you should not have agreed to an evening schedule if you do not include evening appts. Disgusted with her attitude and feel you should read more reviews before selecting her as a therapist.

Thriveworks is legitimately a scam Thriveworks is legitimately a scam. They want you to see 2 different therapist at different times throughout the week so they can charge you and the insurance more. The reason for me even using this services was a psych evaluation. Something they do not even offer, but still asked me to take 2 sessions before telling me that. The second therapist had a grin most of the time as if my personal problems were funny to her. To top that, I was charged $135 on two separate ocassions for a service I did not use. They told me I had to wait 60 days for a refund. I waited the 60 days, now I'm being told I need to wait an additional 30 to 60 days to get my money back. I literally spent 1hr and 30 minutes attempting to get a straight answer and what do they do? They pass responsibility from department to department saying that the person that can help is in a meeting 🤣. I'm attaching a screen shot of the amount of time these scammers are keeping me on the phone.
