A colleague recommended… A colleague recommended SellingAPractice.com to me. I had very little time (was moving out of the area in 3 weeks!), had sold my house, and was ready to walk away from my practice. Jason encouraged me to reach out to a few local "competitors," advised me on negotiating with interested parties, drew up the NDAs and contracts, and I successfully sold my practice in under a month! Jason had a lot of experience, so he could offer ideas on how to get prospects and advice on the pitfalls to avoid. It was worth every penny to have him write up the final contract. I highly recommend working with Jason; my only regret is not having found him earlier in the selling process!

I can't recommend Jason highly enough I can't recommend Jason highly enough. He exceeded my expectations by far. By the time I found him, I had already paid a broker for a practice valuation and had found my own buyer for my practice. Jason was able to write a contract that was so thorough and professionally done that neither I nor my buyer felt the need for an attorney. As a result, I only paid a very reasonable hourly based fee. Jason was very responsive to my emails and questions and is very knowledgeable and professional. The free resources on his site attest to his wealth of knowledge and ethics. Retiring and selling my naturopathic medical practice of nearly 40 years is a big deal, and I felt very supported by Jason in this process. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!!

Successful sale of my acupuncture practice! Last year I closed on the successful sale of my 31 year acupuncture practice. It happened quickly and in COVID times which to me was amazing. The key for me was working with Jason Luban, a man of great integrity, honesty and skill. He's really good at this!! A friend strongly suggested I hire a professional to help (not knowing how to go about this). I found Jason on the internet after deciding it was time to sell. Jason's internet site made so much sense to me. Information was straightforward, clear, no pressure and encouraging. Contacting him for help was the best thing I did in this process. He was my "guard dog" following me through each step, making sure that all was correct and that I was protected. What a gem he is! I can't recommend him enough. His price is far lower than his worth. Whew...where to begin Whew...where to begin. My husband, the practitioner, was ready to retire after practicing for 25 years. I run all facets of the office except inserting/removing needles in patients. When we finally made the decision on timing which was partially due to his retirement goal and the remaining time on our lease I began calling brokers. I looked in Acupuncture Today for ideas and came across several names to try. I was extremely dismayed at the used-car-salesman words I heard and the lack of personalized attention I felt necessary to truly represent our business. The exorbitant fees aside, they made me feel as though after the initial eval was completed it would sit on their site and hope that someone came along to bite. Fortunately for us I did some Google searches and spoke to another acupuncturist in the process of selling her practice and came across Jason Luban and his service. After just one conversation with Jason I could tell he excelled in this area and his fees, not only were very reasonable, but also comprehensive. Jason bills hourly letting you know upfront the expected amount of time and fees. His valuation, reasoning, website and detailed information make the sales process, for both the seller and potential buyers, quite efficient and effective. Now, the coaching. Jason let us know every step of the way what we needed to do and avenues to pursue in order to find a buyer. He let us know what did/did not work for him and ideas for marketing the practice. The amount of money we saved cutting out attorney fees was worth the price of admission. All the documents Jason provided were well vetted and had enough legalese to stop anyone in their tracks; NDA and/or final California contract. I could go on-and-on but bottom line is this; you will not find a better person to help you through the sales process of your practice than Jason Luban. He will act as a professional business person, practitioner, and coach/cheerleader the entire time. He is always reachable and very approachable. GO FOR IT!

I highly recommend working with Jason… I highly recommend working with Jason Luban at SellingAPractice.com. I did everything exactly as he said, and it worked! I was able to sell my 22 year-old medical practice even during shutdown and COVID! Jason is very organized and has all the steps figured out. The sequence of what to do when is logical and practical. He guided me to stay on the current task and not get ahead of myself. Jason was available by phone and email whenever I needed to be in touch with him. He frequently checked in with me. I never felt lost or alone in the process, even though it was a really big project. He is very generous with his time and information, and encouraged me to believe in my dreams. Jason has a good understanding of the accounting and legal aspects to selling a practice. My buyer even said her lawyer was impressed with the documents and contract. I appreciated the professionalism and experience Jason brought to the process. I had confidence in the paperwork he created, starting with the non-disclosure agreements all the way through to the selling contract. Because this was a fee for service relationship, I felt it was a very good value. I knew I was paying for a great consultant who knew what he was talking about. This is very different than paying a broker who wants a percentage. With Jason, I had good help and it was worth it. I wanted to sell my practice for at least five years, but I never did anything about it. I did not know where to start, how much to ask, or what to do. In late February of 2020 I started working with Jason. By the end of September, 2020 I closed with a buyer. This is what success looks like. Consequently, I have high praise.
