I purchased the Happy Light a few weeks… I purchased the Happy Light a few weeks ago, but am trying to return it and the company has stopped responding in the matter. I asked for a refund and they countered to offer a replacement. When I replied confirming that I simply want to return it for a refund, I got no further reply. I have initiated communication 2 more times to jo avail. This is only the 2nd time I have ever written a negative review of an experience with a company.

Blew up when plugged in, company response was disappointing I had wanted a light therapy lamp for a long time and my husband did his research and bought this for me for my birthday. I was thrilled. I read the instructions and notes the safety features on the plug. Verilux shipped to the UK from USA so we purchased a worldwide to UK converter. The minute I plugged it into the outlet the product flashed and popped shorting out. There was a horrible smell and that was that. I immediately emailed the company. After about 2 days I got a response asking for the model number. They responded that the warranty was void because it wasnt suitable for 220v outlets in the UK? And that was it. Product broken, money gone. How is the average joe meant to know what voltage the outlets in their house are? Surely if they are prepared to ship worldwide they should be a bit more specific about which of their products can be actually used worldwide? Such a disappointment.

Verilux: A company that gives you a personal feel and stellar service First, Verilux shipped this out super quickly. I got it in just a few days, yet I didn't pay for expedited shipping, just FedEx handoff to the postal delivery. Thus far I am loving their new LED Happylight, and look forward to many mornings with it helping me to start my day on a much "brighter" note. I loved how they followed up my order with a humorous email recognizing my order with them, and telling me how they were jumping for joy and celebrating my choice to join the Verilux family. The Happylight seems to be a very nicely built product, certainly couldn't be easier to use, and I'd definitely buy from them again.

Stellar Customer Service We've used our Verilux "Happy Light" for years and replaced the bulb once getting years-more benefit. More recently we updated to the newest version and love it with its improved design & 3 settings. Most impressive was their Customer Service Representative who not only fulfilled our request but also followed up with a light-hearted email confirmation.

İf you have a return or a normal problem that can actually be solved by automatic support emails, go for it.But if not, you are all alone after your purchase. I’ve read good reviews about this product and instead of ordering any other brand from uk, l wanted to go for this and ordered to my friend who was gonna be in us for for 10 days. I’ve contacted the company to explain this but still the order arrived so late( don’t understand how) my friend returned and l ended up paying that much money and not recieving my order. I’ve been writing the customer support to get a refund but they don’t even bother reading customer mails, they keep on sending me automatic support emails saying that ‘’ pack the item in its original packing and send it back’ .For god sake, how can l even send a product that l haven’t even recieved!!! Can you at least read the customer emails than send a meaningful reply🙈Worst decision ever ordering from them. İts not about me having a personal issue, its the quality of the service you will get. There are many other good brands for sad lamps ,buy from them at least you’ll have a better support there is a problem!!
