Underwhelmed 2 years ago It is odd that I got a request-for-review of a "recent" purchase, since it was about 2 years ago. However, the problem was that the chair is designed for a statistically average female and can't be adjusted for body size. It proved too small and uncomfortable for my partner, and when we tried to return it, they shipped it back to us. We grumbled, ate the loss and donated it to charity. At the time, KD Smart Chair seemed overwhelmed by their success at the time, and were failing in customer service.

New batteries? I also have a KD Smartchair that I love, it need replacement batteries, and it seems the company is out of business. Anyone have a lead on compatible batteries?

I have several larger chairs I have several larger chairs that do not compare to the flexibility or ability to trasport as the KD Smart chair. The light weight yet sturdy chair allows me to go almost anywhere. I've had it transported by car because it folds and by pickup. I've used it in store,theators, hospitals, out on bike trails, and walking paths that are gravel. It has enough power to go up long and steep inclines and is fairly comortable. Bcause it met all my requirements of a bigger more expensive chair, I will buy another Sart chair when I need a replacement. I am pretty well wheel chair bound an this chair satisfies all my mobility needs.

Ordered the rear replacement wheels in… Ordered the rear replacement wheels in mid October and still waiting to receive them in desperate need of these wheels as the rear wheels are both splitting apart .My KD smart chair is my main transportation outside the home as I have MS and have exstreem difficulty walking any distance. Very disappointed with the service of ordering replacement parts , it states on your website that these are in stock which when I’ve called twice I’m told because of trade wars they are on back order and being told twice that it will be only a couple more weeks. You need to correct your website so ppl are not ordering parts that aren’t available. I could have REALLY used this money to pay bills as I’m on a very limited income.

Durable mobile device Durable mobile device. Takes 12-15 hours to fully charge from complete depletion. Comfortable & fast. Biggest challenge is the weight of the chair. Extremely heavy if you have both batteries in attached to the chair. Much easier if you slide both out, then lift & place in the car. Size wise, careful not to leave chair in heated car; lithium batteries will overheat. Chair takes up all the trunk space if you d/n have a carrier extension on the outside of your vehicle. Weight to lift is about 50#.
