Extremely heavy if you have both batteries in attached to the chair. Much easier if you slide both out, then lift & place in the car. Size wise, careful not to leave chair in heated car; lithium batteries will overheat. Chair takes up all the trunk space if you d/n have a carrier extension on the outside of your vehicle. Weight to lift is about 50#.

KD Smart Chair - A New Moblity Option The KD Smart Chair has changed my wife's mobility options dramatically. Her old power chair weighed about 250 pounds and required quarterly maintenance of the chair lift. The heavy duty smart chair, weighing about 52 pounds, means we can carry the chair in any vehicle with a simple placement in vehicle trunk. The chair was touted to be only 50… The chair was touted to be only 50 pounds including batteries but it is over 59 pounds . Further, it is complicated and awkward for the user to fold away because the joystick must be removed and repositioned to use the chair. There are also lots of warnings and cautions about over charging the batteries which is quite a concern since often times charging other equipment can be done overnight. In retrospect I should have purchased a Zinger for my son

My calls go to music for several minutes and then the call disconnects.
